Hey Dan! Thanks for watching! At first, our soil was pretty rough. Not even sure we could call it soil. 😅 We had removed a lot of non-native tropical plants and there was a mix of heavy, hard clay soil, rocks, and roots, but we were impatient and wanted to get plants in as soon as possible. We amended a little bit here and there using soil from the nursery where we purchased our native plants. It took about a year for the soil to start looking and feeling really nice. Now it hardly resembles what was there when we started two years ago. We lost a few plants along the way, but for all sorts of reasons. It’s been a really fun learning experience. 😊
What a lovely tour of California native plants in your backyard garden! ❤ So sweet!
Wow😍A beautiful and peaceful garden! I would definitely enjoy walking through this garden to pray🙏heaven on earth💫⭐️✨⚡️
Hell ya
V useful to see the plant names and to see all these in great shape! What is your soil like?
