I don't regret getting my quaker for one second; he's another little troll bird, but I love him so much; he also runs away laughing when he's done something naughty, and goes on long rants when he's own his own, just like yours :) I can see why they get rehomed though, they are noisy, feisty, opinionated little guys, you really need to be sure you're making the right choice; true for all animals, of course, but there are definitely some that need extra thought, and I'd include quakers in that.

Haha you described them perfectly " noisy, feisty, opinionated little guys". If they would be able to write comments on the Internet, they would be trolls :D And they would write harshest reviews, I don't even want to mention how many parrot pellets I had to try before bruno accepted one except for soft ones like TOP's. Something is too hard, too small, too big, too round, too square, too "not like they want it to be" and they will refuse to even touch it. While happily eating things they should never eat like cables :D

If I walked in on you doin 8:45, I'd never let it go😂💕
In Arizona, there are Packs of African Love birds, they escaped a Laboratory facility a while back and have integrated into the system here.
Very often, in a group of 20 green birds, you'll see a yellow, dim green, or fire orange individual. These are escaped pets, who have integrated with the next best pack they can find and are very often accepted as "Extras" in the cast.
You see the same the same thing with " Albino Pigeons" the ones with a full clean white coat, pink eyes and feet in a group of normal pigeons,
Thats a "Homing Pigeon" - a white bred pigeon that used to be released instead of doves at events. Alot of them would get lost and never make it back, and they're the completely "Albino" looking pigeon you see out there now, a decade later.
I dont know your situation..but if you lost a bird, it can be recaptured. I'd identify all bird species in your surrounding area, and start hunting down nest points for each of those bird groups, feeding and following near by packs will help identify the spots. If the trees are foreign, with no surrounding bird species, Kiwi will pick trees that look like her, Color/Water Reflections. Your bird will most likely be there at a colony point, bein a social bird especially.
Once you identify the site, cheap traps, As to have as many as you can, a cardboard box with a stick holding up the corner metaphor works, just X20, and an "All you can eat" Kiwi sign between them.
This is..sloppy, but a way to recover the bird. If you call out to it, try using your other birds tweet(Like take a recording and play it out loud) she may reveal herself to her friend. Wish you clever hunting🕊

Yay a new video! Well in my case my quaker parrot turned slightly more intense, I love him but well sometimes he is a lot :D I had to place toys in one particular spot in a cage in order to stop Bruno from biting and pulling on the cage bars (you can imagine this metallic sound, it is as pleasant as fork on a plate). Bruno is also crazy over scabs, if I have a scab anywhere on my arms, head or face, he will come for it, and it is barely possible to turn his attention away from it - those little demons never forgets :D Also he is not tolerating anyone except me and tries to protect me. On the plus side he is - so far - the smartest parrot I had :D
So far he knows a few words but he prefers to sing and make noises, a lot of different noises ( cleaning his water bowl, water splashing, cabinet door squeaking, alarms, laugh, my coug, kissing sounds and more) obviously he is making tons of noises/sings/ talks when I am out of the room. Oh and their clumsiness, I thought Bruno is clumsy one, but I see now that it is just quaker parrot thing :D He sometimes trips over his own leg or stand too far on the side of the perch :D
I don't regret my choice to get quaker parrot, in fact I would love second, but anyone considering them should think a lot if they are ready for them.

I know this is unrelated to this video but I seen you use towels for the floor. I recommend a large tarp that is made out of cotton/polyester. That way the floor only needs one uniform barrier.

Quakers seem to love being in enclosed spaces where they can hear their voices echo, like your bird in the shower 😂. Ours went nuts chirping in the fridge! (We never closed the door on it, ofc.)

I love that my baby girl is clingy but lately I’ve been worried she gets too attached to me bc even with my whole family always being home when I’m gone, she will call for me when she hears me OuTsiDe💀and just scream. The kisses too.. never stops especially if I try to take a nap she is like a child who never sits still and always going in and out the blatant kissing my face/biting to get attention lol. And I can’t eat anything wout her bc she will scream to come with, and then proceeds to eat my whole food lol. Completely diff than my tiel!! Also love the fat chubbness too haha

Hlo mimi!! I hope u are doing well with your flock 😊
Here i am with the same prblm of my birds weight, i am mentioning some points and trouble -
    - they are 1 year and 3 months
    - their weight are 53 and 51
    - they don't seem weak, like wobbling and all
    - i can feel their keel bone but not too sharp and it doesn't show by just watching
    - if on an scale of 1 to 5 ( of measuring keel bone ) they are on 2.5 level.
    - no nasal and eye discharge
    - no stress bars under wings
    - they eat atleast 40 g of veggies, some pellets, fruits, walnuts as per your suggestion and now some sunflower seeds too as only 10% or lower of their diet ( recommended by vet on online platform )
    - they fly around and play a lot too
    - they are mostly chirping and singing to me
I have been searching so much about sick and weak birds but none of the conditions i read apply on my birds.
I don't know what i am doing wrong that their weight is still less than 60 😔
I am really sad and worried about them, i have been reading so many cmnts online and according to some it seems that my birds are just naturaly slim or maybe the problem is ME 🥲.
I don't have proper vets that i can visit so YOU are MY last HOPE 🙏🏻

I think as long as they are eating well and are not sick then you can continue as you are doing :)
