I think you are thinking of I Am Super. The show that Diana Ankudinova was on. It was unique, in that it was designed for underprivileged children, and children from abusive families. It wasn't set up as a money maker like the Voice or AGT.

@@AmberandCharisseReact Thank you. Not many people know there is a lot of music they put out while they were t.A.T.u. Many assumed All the things she said and Not Gonna Get Us were their only one/two hit wonders and they faded out. Reality is they still put out music. :) They have even put out songs as solo artists. Lena Katina's "Never forget" music video is about their split.
Actually not pop. It's electric dance. You'd put this with Madonna or Tina Turner.
Edm is more like Britney, Kylie & prodigy
They have lot more songs, they split back in 2009. Their song White Robe was filmed when Yulia was 7 months pregnant with her son. most of their music videos had controversy. Interesting fact Lena (the red haired) was weeks shy from turning 16 when All the things she said was filmed. Yulia was only 15.

Heh😂😂... Little unexpected song choice😅... Maybe I should not say a word because I have to protect my metal-listener-reputation😜, but damn this brings SO much memories.. I think I was already into metal at the time this was released but I was secretly jamming everytime when I heard this song on the radio😂😂.. Perhaps time has now passed it (or how you say that in English😅) but yeah🤔... Maybe doesn't hit me anymore but dam this was good back then😂

Well😅, I don't😂, but this song is just awesome and most likely it will be one of those very few folk-song I will ever reguest and even it is Folk-metal song, perhaps not exactly the style you would expect but I say no more, you'll see by yourselves😉... 😅.. It's a Russian Band called ГРАЙ (grai) and their song called В объятиях Мары (In the arms of Mara. (Last year's best new discovery for me😉)
