    Oh man, I never miss out on a P360 video series! I've been patiently waiting for iNav 5.0 to come out of RC status, and now I guess I have a lot of watching and firmware flashing to do! Thank you!

      Thank you for sticking with me! I've always added the date to my videos but things like build series date so quickly, adding the date into the title will help pilots in future spot when they are looking at something out of date... Happy flying!

    That was a great introduction. I've been looking forward to it. I plan to use my trusty old Opterra 2m which is fitted with an Avian ESC which allows me to use reverse thrust resulting in easily managed landings into my restricted airstrip. I hope the series will take account of those of us with Spektrum and Jeti receivers?! Many thanks Lee.

      This series following almost the same track as the INAV for Beginners 2020 series. In terms of the setup, not a lot has changed so about 95% of that original series from two years ago remains unchanged.. Happy flying!

      That is great to hear! I make these videos in the hope that they are clear, easy to follow and contain all the steps needed to be successful. It is always lovely to hear then they work! Happy flying and do spread the word about the channel.. Happy flying!

    • @joshmellon390
      @joshmellon390 Год назад

      @Painless360 I like how straight forward and clear you are. Too many channels aim for video length, not video content. You don't leave out any steps, and if there is a rabbit hole somewhere you just make another video.
      I actually gave up entirely on a MultiWii series years ago because I couldn't get multiwii to run right. It would just close when I pressed read. Years later I still remember this issue lol. I needed a specific Java instalation. The guy even mentions that "you might have trouble with java," but offers no solution. I found the solution elsewhere.

    I am glad you are doing this. I have an old RMRC Recruit V2 that I have never done much with and discovered that it's board is obsolete so decided I should start learning this wing and figured iNav would be good for me to do with since I'm somewhat familiar with Betaflight. Do you have a suggestion for a Maytek Wing board for me to start and follow along with your series with?

    very good manual, but regarding the targets, its hard to find a working board as the github pages are horribly outdated, and the discord is pretty much dead. I'm looking for months for a AIO 30mm flight controller that supports inav, just impossible to find.

    i have a hglrc f722 fc from a quad that i killed the esc on install, and i wasnt paying $90-100 for a new esc when i can get a whole stack for $110 (only f4 but still) and because im too worried about plugging it into another esc because of the way i killed it (i plugged the cable from the esc to fc backwards and put power to the esc telemetry and current sensor pins, for some reason it killed the esc but the fc seems fine, so now im just going to avoid using the telemetry (uart6) and current sensor inputs, so i thought its a good chance to get into fixed wing, so i just ordered a eachine mobula delta wing because i can use my current batteries in it (all other planes ill need to buy batteries for) and i can hook up an elrs receiver to the hglrc f722 fc and put inav on it so i can get the launch assist working and auto trim as i dont want to destroy it before i get a chance to figure out how to get it trimmed out and how to fly a wing lol plus having the stability assist will give a smoother fpv experence im hoping, i might end up trying to put gps on it so i can do return to home and play with mission planner and some autonomous flying. wish me luck lol (the mobula came in at $133 aussie dollars in fpv trim, not bad considering a zohd dart is $150 for just pnp its $220 for fpv and i would have to buy 3s batteries for it, the eachine was a decent choice i think, once i get the hang of it i really want to get the dragonfly seaplane)

    I followed the last series and set up an inav in a home built foamie. (flight test explorer). I haven't used it in ages due to a move but now have the space to fly. Would you mind touching on migrating from an older setup? i.e re-flashing and migrating OR clearing and starting from scratch?

      The upgrade process is the same. See github.com/iNavFlight/inav/releases for details. I've made videos on it in the past but I like to start from scratch as I have had the odd thing happen in the past using the Diff All file... Happy flying

    I finally went to maiden my Phoenix with Speedybee and Inav6. The motor would only idle even after I launched. I went back into the Inav to make adjustments and now the motor doesn't even start up before or after launch. I works if I test them through the Inav configurator and I have swapped out ESCs and motors with same results. Should I just go in and restart the process from the start? Thanks. I'm new to Inav and have learned a lot from you.

    Hello. I have a VTOL aircraft at Pixhawk Cube Orange. In cruise flight modes, the aircraft flies normally. When you turn on the AUTO mode, the flight by points starts to pop up the inscription error compass variance. Sometimes it disappears and then reappears. I replaced the autopilot, replaced the airspeed sensor, replaced the HERE 3 GPS. The problem doesn't go away. I installed a new firmware, calibrated the accelerometer and compass. The problem doesn't go away. I read that in the EK2 / 3_MAG_CAL settings you need to set 2 and the problem will disappear. I now have 0. Please tell me if this problem can be solved. This is very important to me. Thank you. (Sorry for my English)

      VTOL series starting next month. Until then, check out my Pixhawk 2020 series on the channel... Always check the compass is far enough away from interference. See
