Following what you been through has really help me choosing the right direction for a transmission. Just set up my appointment for my T56 swap at Mustang Magic. Almost went with a Calimer Stage 3 but your vids made me really dig and find out the nightmare stories. Its a garbage platform no matter who builds them. Thanks for the honest feedback.
Cool, you will love the trans. Be sure to respect the break in period and then some. Trans is super quiet and shifts like butter. Also handles the power really well. U don’t need to change to a short throw either. The Tremec shifter is great! I just went to 4:10 again and the car and trans is a great pair. Happy to help!
@@CoyoteProductionsBoss302 Awesome thanks for the feed back, I'm going with the 4:10's also Went with the McLeod RTX twin disk since i'm about 700 wheel. Defiantly going easy ion the break in with the price of this swap. And yeah I was waiting to see how the stock shifter was before I ordered the MGW.
Your car is fn awesome 👌 love it. What gear are you going with out back? These are geared way longer than mt82 so if you wanna keep it close to the way 373 was before you're prob gonna need like a 4.30 or 4.56 gear to compensate. I'd do a 4.10 even if it's boosted the gearing is WAY longer on a tremec compared to an mt82. Such a sick car.
Thanks I appreciate that! So right now I have 3.73 and yes they are pretty tall. Tremec converter shows 4.10s are pretty close to the Calimer ratio and I already have the 4.10 gear. I’m going to wait until I install the heads and Boss Racing cams before I do the gear change. It’s a drivers car right now and I’m liking that. LOL
No , no noise. Check your fluid, it’s critical you do the recommended break-in before getting into it. Have your warranty submitted. Follow up with the dealer as well. You shouldn’t have any noise with your transmission.

Awesome car man. I'm looking at putting the magnum in my vehicle, what is the 6th gear ratio on your magnum and what do you think of it for cruising on the highway.
Thanks, 6th gear is 0.63. It’s a great transmission for cruising, very smooth and pleasant to drive. I cruise 70 mph at 2000 rpm with 3.73 gears and > 27” tire. Top speed in 4th gear is 124 mph at 7500 rpm. Copy the link and paste it into your browser. It’s the Tremec gear ratio calculator. www.tremec.com/calculadora.php

My T56 xl magnum install on my sons 2017 Mustang is a complete nightmare so far. It’s gonna be four months still not right taking it to a speed shop to un blank it. Car grinds every gear loud clicking noise putting clutch in with car not running. Modern driveline swap kit with McCloud rust.
How do like your Continental tire, is this the 4 season DWS 06 on the rear is the traction excellent on dry asphalt will it hook decent how is the handling good also. That is a good transmission with reliability. Happy for you.
I love them, however, I have the extreme contact which is a summer performance tire. I believe the tire you are talking about might come standard on a Hellcat.
holy shit, im just bolt ons but got my kit installed and its grinding/locking out 24/7 since I got it so now I gotta wait 5 more weeks for this shop to reinstall it ig. i heard a lot abt it not being that bulletproof and thought it might be too much for the price but seems like that's not the case@@skullhart
A great car with very expensive and sensible changes. A Mustang is allowed to make noise and vibration. It's not a Porsche where everything is perfect from the factory.
Well it was bad, but I sold it before I knew it was bad bc I thought the cracked clutch was the problem. I shipped it to California and refunded the guys money bc it made the same noise. I shipped it to BC and they found 2 gears that had a bad wear pattern which was not my fault. They would not warranty it and wanted $2000 to fix it and ship it back to me, had 4000 miles on it. BC gave me $1200 for parts. I wasn’t happy that they didn’t warranty gears as promised.
@@fredocastillo6984you can try some people had good luck. Stage two has stock gears and will still fail. Just depends on how you drive and your add ons for power. There’s a shop in Texas that did Bosworks. Check him out on IG, it’s a white Boss, hit him up and he’ll tell you the shops name.
