- Time to throw some paint on this sucker, Giving away a 1/35 Tamiya static tank kit, and trying out mission model paint for the first time in the airbrush. I like the kit bring back memories when I was younger and I had a paper route and used the money to buy Tamiya tank kits!
Just discovered this channel and I gotta say, love the content! Can’t wait to see the rest of the model completed!
I have the Porsche (pre-production) barrel inbound from Germany, and my Engineer buddy is currently machining a custom breech extension and 3D printing a trunion adapter, once all those bits are in I will get it together and put up the next episode, really happy you are enjoyig the content, subscribe to make sure you are notified when the next episode goes up.
Not trying to win the kit but I do enjoy watching your videos and yes, to the end. It's coming up brilliant with the primer red finish. Reminded me of the Jagdtiger I just finished in 'filmtone' grey. The Builds get boring if you never experiment!

I don't go in for military kits (too much work for me), but those look great, for whoever gets one.
That is why I mainly do 1/16 scale, my eyes have trouble with the 1/35 stuff.

3. No it is not your favorite paint will only use it if needed for color and the effect it gives. The paint is very hard to clean out of airbrush. If paint is used again will use a cheaper airbrush to spray it to avoid possible damage to a good airbrush..

Woodstock an hellboy tank an it seems you don’t like the mission models paint because it gets everywhere and is a pain to clean up with the airbrush and the looks of your hands. An it looks like you are not fond of it . Hope I answered everything right would love to win one of those an waiting on the drawing for the he donor king tiger. Looking to getting the big tiger or a jagdtiger for myself soon recently got the hobby boss tiger in 1 /16 th. An love the size. Have been building 1/35 th scale until first of the year and am now loving the 1/16 th scale kits

Are Tamiya full option tanks equipped with a 360 degree turret? Waiting for my own Centurion tank kit as well. This will be my first Tamiya R/C build and I would like to know if I should source up grade parts. Bearings, slip ring, 360 turret ring. That sort of things.

The Tamiya tanks do not do 360 rotation generally, however some of them can do 360 but not without a limit to the number of rotations, before the wires bind.
Your wife called from downtown woodstock. The nickname is frankentank. Mission model paint is not your favorite, it is difficult to clean the air brush afterwards. Another great video

Does any company make a 1/16 metal porsche tiger II turret?
Not sure if Heng Long does a metal one but I think Taigen did a metal Porsche turret one a while back.
