    Very nice attention to detail. The paint scheme is one of my favorites. I have built several 1:35 scale versions of these late tigers due to their visual interest.
    Thank you for sharing this with all of us.

      Thanks ! That’s my favourite camo scheme too. I have been waited at least 20 years to do this. Finally it’s done!

    This the way to turn your RC Tanks into realistic Runners. You can adjust the level of detail and weathering from Shelf Queen to a vehicle that is run regularly in IR Matches or Club Meets but still looks much better than the out of the box Armor. Beautiful Job here. ;0)

      -Post-war war graffiti has been speculated as well....
      Wonderful werk as always!

    Great job. I am surprised you didn't upgrade the canon to a recoil barrel after all that other work, but its still amazing and an inspiration for my own.

    • @henschelporsche1
      @henschelporsche1  Год назад +1

      I think the main focus of my project was on the authenticity of the tank and the action functionality was a bonus. The mud and weathering on the tracks might be damaged by the repeated running of the model so would keep it as display model most of the time. And thank for your compliment!

  • @DavidSmith-ss1cg

    I HAVE to ask - was there a mold seam on the original cannon mantlet? I have to ask, because the rest of your attention-to-detail and craftsmanship is just off-the-chart. I'm especially impressed with the attention to weld seams and the texture on the armor-plate. Wow, what a GREAT job!!!

    • @henschelporsche1
      @henschelporsche1  2 года назад +1

      Thanks David. I might have over done on the mold seam as weld seam and also not on the ring, but some real photo does show a seam there and some not- I guess it all varies during the mantlet production? And thank you again for the compliment, there is still a lot to learn to improve.

      Ww2 pictures can be very unclear. I sometimes see details I never spotted because some picture was taken very close to a vehicle. I think it is likely they had a casting mouldline, puma (50mm) do too, in the exact same place.

      Thanks! this one did not take too long as it is a RC tank with not much details inside and I have to add a lot which consumed most of the time.

    Great work as always! Could you tell me what brushes you use for washes and chipping please? Who’s brushes and what brush sizes.

    • @henschelporsche1
      @henschelporsche1  Год назад

      Thank you very much !! The brushes I used was AK Interactive #4 with thick and slender shape for grime / rust washes. For chipping I used the Tamiya Brush HF 87048 extra small, and for extreme fine chip and scratches I used Atlas Brush Co 970 3/0. Hope that helps !!😁

      The inner hatch details eg: the locking rods, I was thinking the same because I've got this exact tank and want to do some detail work but not skilled. so if there's any ready made parts or 3d printing files that would help us guys who do not have your level of modelling skills

    What scale chain do you use, is it ship anchor chain?

    • @henschelporsche1
      @henschelporsche1  2 года назад

      The chain is for generic use so no scale. Just pick it for its scale to match.

    besids king tiger, which model scale from henglong is accurate?

    • @henschelporsche1
      @henschelporsche1  Год назад +1

      I think most of them are not entirely accurate without modifications, but StuG iiii and panzer iiii seems easier to modify and the Panther is also not bad.

    This is a very nice of this old RC tank. It looks great :) Im doing a complete overwhole to a Tiger 1 at the moment. Nice too that more people giving some love to RC tanks. Have a look on my channel if youre intrested. It will be Tiger 131

    • @henschelporsche1
      @henschelporsche1  7 месяцев назад +1

      Thanks! I started many years ago with the Heng Long paint redo and found it fascinating that it could have been so much better when painted properly. Compared to building a much expensive Tamiya Tiger 1 , I could do five more tanks with that price, I also find out tamiya makes the tank less accurate when I started to dig deep inside the historical details, so now I mainly stay with static models. Will surely visit your site and happy modelling !!

    • @dermodellbaunoob
      @dermodellbaunoob 7 месяцев назад

      @@henschelporsche1 thank you. I guess your right. Static models are great and not that huge projects like big RC. But I will do an 1:10 3d printed tank
