Bro you opening the door and window is so relatable xD too much damn smoke
That’s me anytime I make steak 😂😂😂
haha its the thai chilis as well! those fumes will destroy you
@@cristallikethechampagne8243 ikr?? It sucks cuz the pan gotta be nice and hot for the sear but when you put it on it starts smoking like a chimney 😂
@@thatdudecancook sheeesh, that bad huh? I've never made anything with tai chillies specificly thanks for the warning ⚠️
My fave Thai dish .. traditional has no soy tho .. Oyster, fish sauce, MSG, pepper ! .. it's the best !! .. great with prawn/squid too .. my favourite is the moo krob (crispy pork) tho ! Awesome channel bro.
I’m Thai and I approve this, both the food and his accent when he says “Pad Kra Pao” (Thai: ผัดกะเพรา)
How did u approve this pad kra pao need holy basil and I couldn’t see one in the video.
Holy Basil
อีกอย่างถ้าดูที่วิธรทำผมว่าถูกหมดครับ
Same
Thank god for fast videos. I get so tired of skipping through other longer videos lol. I know how to cook and this is all I need. I understand what's happening already and it's just nice to see new dishes or slight variations in under a minute. Love this style.
Just recently watched some of your first videos. It's amazing to see how much your style has evolved since then. I watch all the clips I can. Can't wait to try this one.
I have been a fan of your channel for a while and I love your videos. Keep up the good work.. 🤗🤗
Add ½tsp of shrimp paste into the chili garlic paste and add the juice of one small lime to bring this to the next level.
Also use palm sugar instead of white.
My favourite Thai dish
Sooooo quick
The minced pork is the best one
As a Thai, your technique and recipe is very legit.
Good stuff, keep up the good work.
This is Authentic Pad Kra Prow (with long beans style ) thrust me Im Thai people
I really really really really loved ur presentation man !!! keep it up ❤❤❤❤
Love your intensity!
thanks sonny 💟
Thai approved! (by me)
This looks really good and not some bastardized version I found in lots of places. Points for pointing out that we normally use holy basil. Regular/western/American basil will produce very different taste from holy basil but holy basil is also really hard to find outside SEA so it’s fine.
Amazing job luv it
48 seconds and still found time to open the damn windows. 😂
Love your channel. You are hilarious and I'm learning a lot about cooking. Thank you
Creating the draft and reacting to the chilies was so real. Thank you for that!
Oooooo‼️ Such a great idea for the white pepper mill. White! Looks delish. 😎
Love this guys work and attitude. So very positive!!
Dude- with meat prices the way they are... THANK YOU for doing a chicken thigh (cheap) recipe!! 💗
My Thai wife loved this with decent pronounciation. Thai basil really makes a big difference.
Goong (prawns) version is just amazing. Need that beautiful white rice and a fried egg with runny yolk. Thai basil is just so damn tasty.
Beautifully done. Yum!
My wife's Thai, and she is a great cook. That being said, she knows I would eat this every day of the week if she'd let me. As for Thai or Holy basil, grow your own. It's so easy.
Oriental stores will have your basil (thai or holy)most of the time. Beautiful dish.
This guy is mad good deserves more views
Love that you open up the house
Perfect video. Just made it, very easy and delicious- fam approved so thanks!
Loved the Muay thai elbow to the fridge that was a nice touch
Straight from Ong Bak
Didn't expected it to be this correct, well done! Really authentic!🇹🇭
Just made it. So easy and delicious. Great video!
The fridge hit is awesome haha
I just love Sergeant Gilbert
This video inspired my dinner tonight and even the kids loved it! This one is going into the weekly meal plan going forward. Thanks!
I just made this recipe x1.5 for lunch. Thanks Sonny, it's delicious!
Yes sir 10 out 10 for sure 💯 %
This is the tastiest dish I've ever made! Well worth it!
Opening the windows and door when the oil heats up is such a nice touch that often gets over looked until the fire alarm goes off. Bravo.
One thing I’ll say is that the Thai basil makes all the difference in the world for this recipe. That being said, even with regular basil it’s still pretty great
My Thai mom makes this for me constantly and I must say this recipe is spot on. 🥰
Love the elbow at the end
Following his recipes will make you feel like a damn 5 star chef 💯💯
Add mint to the Italian basil to get closer to Thai basil
Damn that looks 50 shades past delicious.
You are awesome bro. I love your antics and energy. Keep it up🙏🏽
As a Cook... To Open the door and then the window... Crack me up🤣🤣🤣... Saludos desde Panamá 🇵🇦...
Pad kra pao is a stir fry holy basil with meat. I think you need to add holy basil to the dish. It is the heart of the dish.
He would have used it if he could have gotten it. It’s hard to find in the US.
@@nancyeaton731 you can get Thai basil in every 99 Ranch in the country. Most Asian supermarkets stock it.

That Muay Thai elbow at the end . Gold.
Bonus point for the Muay Thai elbow at the end, killed it per usual Sonny!
Lol lol that fridge punch 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Meat Vegetables a good Sauce and rice is the perfect meal.
That looked good as hell 😎🤘
Bro... You're awesome! Greetings from Thailand.
He is always on a very good excitement what he is cooking 💖
Love your cooking and your videos 🔥
Lmao the faces when cooking. This dude is awesome
Gotta try
Looks full of flavor! 🤤🤤
best yt cook btw
This
This is proper Thai food
Just enough of everything
You can NEVER substitute Italian basil for Thai Basil !!! Two completely different worlds
One of my all time favorite! Usually done with pork in Thailand, but I'm a chicken lover! Thank you for sharing!
Very good recipe! My mom uses pork/chicken; and she adds lemongrass to it, and julienned lime leaves for that aroma.
As a thai people I'm so proud of you, you manage to not mess up thai foods like Jamie Oliver. This look a bit more like most of the street pad krapow but normally it served with no beans, just holy basil and meat. Still look so good tho!
Not long til’ the 1M subs.
gonna try this!
I make this at least once a week (it’s comfort food for mw since i grew up in Thailand). One thing i go is add a few shallots along the chillis and garlic for more flavour and add the sugar to the chilli-garlic-shallot paste instead of the sauce for extra caramelisation
As someone who trains muay thai, I really loved that Elbow to the fridge.... ouuuweeeee
as a thai native, this is valid
Choking on the Chilli Pepper's🌶 definitely relatable plus the Pepper's 🌶 makes everything taste better 😋
Just made this for me and the girlfriend. So so good! Definitely going to be a dish we do regularly. Cheers dude 🤙
You know I love you too!
As a native Thai, string beans aren't commonly used in street food vendors. The best way to cook it is the same way, just without string beans.
Another idea you could try out for a pad krapow variation is with crispy pork, in Thai we call it Pad Krapow Moo krob. Trust me, the krispiness and the fatty pork with the savoury spicy taste is the best.
My favorite
I don't know why but the thumbnail is so funny to me😂😂
Freaken love your vids!!
Him: “ and a pinch of sugar.”
Me: “ more like a handful.”
We have another name for basil-based dish, it's Pad Horapha, which is completely another dish but I can understand the circumstances you have. That's solid Pad Kaphao method.
You cooked Pad Kaprao better than many Thais. 👍😍🙏
Yep he said it right
Looks so great! Fyi, in Thailand we use roughly 3:1:1 mince to chilli to garlic ratio 😅
Hahaha 😂
He elbowed his fridge haha 🤣
It looked more like his forearm than his Elbow.
Approved! But usually we don’t measure how much sauce we use 😂😂 we just use our FEELINGS ~
Brother super 👌. I lke your style of cooking 😃❤
Nice one with the windows and the doors, that chilli smoke would be heavy and sneezy to breathe. 🤣🔥🔥🔥
I am a fan of this dish! But I must say that you don't actually have to put green beans, I can say that this recipe is good, I also like putting garlic or garlic paste for taste!
"a pinch of salt"
(proceeds to add a handful of salt)
I love this guy! So glad I discovered you today ❤️
Whoa all that in 48 seconds 😳
Very impressive Chef Sonny 👌👏👍🙏😎❤
Gonna make this thanks! Also nice elbow
Love this dish and you made it spot on..
even though you left the main ingredient out (krapao, Holy basil) ;)
Nice. In my area 1 order of this at my favorite restaurant is equal to 10 servings if I make it at home.
Definitely a meal I have to make
I’ve made this before, and made it tonight. Fucking delicious.
It's all fun and games until the refrigerator breaks.
This makes me miss Thailand so mf bad 😩
I love you dude
I love this I’m dying of laughter
We have to open every door and window when my daughter makes steaks🤣 so worth it!
Fridge took that elbow like a champ🤣
Authentic is building a wok burner outside
Yes, that was a really quick recipe ;)
