A friend of mine lived in the same building as Modric. She said he was the nicest, most humble, unassuming man. It's always lovely to hear that a successful, talented person is also a decent human being. It doesn't always happen.
Lennon was such a dangerous player. I dont think I've seen a Winger with such incredible acceleration from a standing start. That first 5 - 10 metres he was absolutely electric.
Walcott
Yes - but his end product was consistently poor - used to find him so frustrating to watch. In his best years under Redknapp/AVB he added a great defensive element to his game and really put a shift in.
I don't think Goldstein gets enough credit for being an excellent interviewer of sportsman and women. Once he gets started he ends up making them feel they are just chatting with mates. Quite brilliant. 👏
Different presenter when not paired with the man child , cundy !!! But then so is the man child when paired with someone over 50!!
Aaron Lennon, is a player that i will always have huge respect for because on his day he was unplayable with his pace, and close control. His weak point was his decision making with his final ball.. He always gave his all for Spurs, and England. I have the same respect for Erik Lamela.
i disagree about giving his all he was a player who would often disappear from games that was one of his issues
@@sponish0He wasn't good enough is why you think he wasn't trying enough.
kinda similar to Sterling
not realyl sterling does have good numers even if he misses chances, lennons goals and assist numbers were average at best@@bbqnice1
Aaron was a bum off seat player. Electric acceleration and speed, great to watch, not great end product, but always a pleasure to watch.
Loved Aaron Lennon he was a breath of fresh air when he came to Tottenham back in the Martin Jol days. Was an exciting time to be a Spurs fan after being dreadful for so long.
Very happy to see Lennon in good spirits after his past mental health scares. Top guy and player
He will always be loved at Spurs. His goal against Arsenal in the last minute in the 4-4!
A game you still didn't win 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
@@jakeansell5408 do you have the mental age of a 7 year old?
Always mate, don’t forget his assist to Crouch against Milan in the Champions League. We had him so young, he is like one of our own. I love Aaron and I’m glad his mental health is better too.👍🏽
@@gooner7188 it was a goal not an assist!🤦🏾♂️
@@gooner7188 must still grate for you to take the trouble to comment 😂😂🤣
Players always seems shy when it comes to money and stuff they bought but I don’t know why it’s their money they can buy what they want
Aaron Lennon is a good guy. He always gave everything and my back still hurts from raucous celebrating his 4-4 eqaliser against the Woolwich Wanderers.
I eas a huge Lennon fan. At his peak he was quality. Wish he had played for even bigger teams, he was that good
If lennon could have sorted his decision making out he could have been a top player his close ball control and pace was similar to hazard at times just could never pick the right ball
Loved watching Lennon week in week out at the lane. Gave it his all - a proper player.
Shouldn’t giving it your all be a minimum requirement?
Mediocre English talent that won’t be near any proper national team (France Italy Germany Brazil Argentina Belgium )
Love Lennon. He would be perfect playing under Ange if he were still playing.
So many players name Modric as the best they’ve played alongside.
Liked they way bent had to agree with everything aaron in terms of players at their best.
He didn't have to,but he played with exactly the same players so I'm sure he knew
Lennon was the reason I became a Spurs fan, I almost chose City because of Wright Phillips, but Azza on his day was unplayable. Could run faster with the ball than most off the ball, turn on a dime, and turn defenders inside out. Lennon between 2005 and 2011 was different sauce.
What kind of lemon supports a club because of a player
@@TheJohnCooperShowwhy does it matter. Some players just embody a club.
pacey wingers felt good on fifa!
seems you had a thing for short fast english wingers with no final ball
@@TheJohnCooperShowwhat kind of lemon bothers to comment !!!!!! It's the guys story not yours !!!
Sorry, I watched the whole thing. At what point did he name his worst team mates?
It must destroy Andy Goldstein every time a former player praises Steven Gerrard and says how good he was and completely ignores Paul Scholes 🤣🤣
It must destroy slippy Stevie G when he looks at his 🏆 cabinet and has 0 Premier league titles at loserpool, whereas Paul Scholes has 11 Premier league medals 🏅😂😂😂🎉 Oh dear 😳 that one quickly back fired on you. Just because Lennon mentions Slippy Gerrard doesn't mean jackshit, Scholes was 11 times the player Gerrard was and has the medals to show for it. 😅😅😅
@@alibabashero
Are you 5 years old?
@SBandy Are you gonna 😢 😭 as facts hurt your feelings.
@@alibabashero how come Paul Scholes was never voted United player of the season in all the years he was there?
@@alibabashero seek help
A real Spurs legend 🤍
The click bait is outrageous
I was doing some work in Theydon bois directly opposite Lennons house and trust me the guy had many super cars, fair play to him
Cummins?
Click bait
Keep on smiling Aaron
Azza embodied the spurs team under Jol.
Literally didn't mention anything that the title suggests?
I know, I was thinking I'd hear them mention the likes of Hossam Ghaly but they never actually spoke about that topic it was just clickbait.
Bentleys and lamborginis how nice for you both
Mr by line himself!
I missed when we had wingers that acutally take on there fullbacks, todays wide men. are just forwards looking for space to score goals
Could beat everyone but his crossing was not the best. Terrifying player on his day though.
Buying Bust downs will cost you money
So much respect for Aaron Lennon
He’s sitting next to one of them…😂
Love Aaron. But I had to laugh at the stereotypical footballer who owned a Ferrari but couldn't instantly say what model it was. 😂
Goldstein has a cheek to be talking about anyone's nose.....lol
Good bloke but clickbait title come on
Lennon was a descent winger 🔥🔥
Decent*
It's a shame Lennon never played for a big club. Really enjoyed him as a player
I see you know your football………🤦🏻♂️
😂
@@billyhoyle2780well he didn’t!😂
There's always one
Why does he not have a mouth in the thumbnail? 😂
B tec Walcott
Ferrari is not a safe car 😅 i don't understand why stars like them
So who were the worst teammates he ever played with?
I know lol....but Ghaly must've been 1of them.
ONE AARON LENNON !!!!!!!!!!!
Modric superb player
Dont cry aaron
Sometimes he was the weakest link
How many teenagers do you know with Ferraris? I think it’s wiser to work your way up to something with that sort of power. See Kieran Dyer’s story about damage done to Newcastle city centre when he was messing about in one!
Lennon and Walcott they were overrated 😂😂😂😂
No end product unfortunately as a spurs player 😢
Said no sane person ever
that was what littreally everyone said, amazing pace and skills but final ball was the problem@@TheJohnCooperShow
@@sponish0 go and watch the 9-1 against Wigan for starters
Yeah, Lennon needed more end product. He caused chaos with his speed, but should've had more assists and goals.
he had shed loads of assists, but his trademark was a pull back, rather than whipping crosses in. @@jumhed994
Lads anymore rubbish stories please
More than once Lennon beat three players and passed to Darren Bent with an open goal and he hit it wide.
Darren 'misses another sitter' Bent
bent had a very good scoring record
@@sponish0 and an even better 'missing sitters' record. He was known for it
@@Bertie22222 I mean I’ll take a player scoring lots of goals and missing some sitters
@@sponish0 is that you Bent?
@@Bertie22222 for stating facts I must be bent lol
Why does everyone look cloned nowadays with all these stupid beards.
Whatever happened to individualism.
Weird thing to take from this video! 😂
theres legit always been trends and fashions among humans
@deanlowdon8381
Not as weird as everyone looking kids in school uniforms which was compulsory.
@@bigbernie7260 Say what?
fake news
He won nothing with Spurs bar League Cup. 2 league cups since 1991 and winning title since 1961. Shocking. Spurs is a small club.
They also had some shocking decisions though. Chelski robbed them a lot. Martin Atkinson shitshow in FAcup semi-final rigged etc...
No wonder he had a mental breakdown, being a yido has that affect
Vile comment
Ahhh.....English football players, a true reflection of the intelligence of the working class. I really hope Scotland, Ireland and Wales move on before their gene pool is tainted.
What are u on about? 😂😂
