SNHU online has been awesome for me. My G.I bill covers everything from tuition to books, and the instructors are very helpful. My student advisor calls me at least once a week to touch base with me on how I'm doing, not just academically, but personally. This is my first experience with college, and I love being able to do the work from the comfort of my home office.

I graduated with a degree in Business Administration from SNHU. I learned a ton and I was able to use what I learned at work. I also graduated with zero debt because it was so affordable. I get it, it isn't Harvard, but it is a non-profit private university with a beautiful campus and it gave me the tools that I needed.

I;m sorry, but for all you dissing online learning based schools, its really about what you get out of it. No college can guarantee you a better chance at a great job more than any others. I def know a few ppl who paid 100k at an Ivy league school, just to wind up selling cars. I'm not saying that online schools rank up there with classroom education, but to pretend that everyone has that same time and money to do so is really unfair. College is general gives you stronger foundation along with the ability to specialize in a specific area to be competitive in the job market. That's all it does. No matter the school.

I just completed my first class at Western Governors University. He was right. There is no reason today for someone to put themselves 40k, 30k or even 20k in debt. My cybersecurity program is $4,300 every 6 months, which includes all texts, and certificate fees. I'm transferring 30 CU's from another university and should graduate in under 1.5 years.
When I finish I'll have the bachelor's degree in cybersecurity, all the relevant certs, and my capstone project, all of which should tick all the HR boxes to land me a role in cyber.

I am very concerned about this Universities approach. Heavy marketing to adult learners who drop and then left with heavy student loans or bills. I just came from a conference in CA where a former student shared how he was sent to collection because the University demanded full payment for a class after he missed SNHU's drop deadline due to his father's death.
The story goes on like this: SHNU refused to offer him a retake and demanded payment within the same year or be send to collections!. Seems to remind me of ITT. Obama went after ITT, yet SNHU runs the same policy ITT did.
Perhaps Trump needs to investigate this University given OBAMA has protected SNHU for political reasons. If you plan to enroll, I recommend demanding the first class be free!
How much money is SNHU making on those adults learned they grab off TV ads then later drop!!! (that seems to be their source of cash for campus upgrades). Their grad rates are very poor and feedback from professors via glass-door alarms me.

SNHU about to be closed? Last week, Vice President of Academic Affairs Michael Evans sent a
letter to culinary students and graduates stating that he recommends the
department shut down, after all current students graduate. Evans cited
data that led him to believe the program wasn't offering students enough
return for their education investment. This is a solid signal, RUN!!
