Still processing the original movie over 100 years ago! When hollywood do remakes, i suggest they wait 100 years like this..

Definitely the right person for the job! When he was originally announced and then for some reason taken off I was quite disappointed, glad he’s back.
I have never been persuaded to buy a cinema ticket on the strength of seeing a monster/, character design, I have been deterred from buying a ticket after seeing one. I want the reveal at the cinema.

Robert Eggers already got bill and alexander skarsgård in his movies so he's gotta have stellan skarsgård in the future and they could have released this on October because it would been perfect for any horror movie during Halloween

I'm seriously digging the atmosphere and cinematography here! The only thing putting me off so far is Bill Skarsgård. I'm really not a fan at all! Sorry!
I do hope it goes deep into the gothic horror and that, mixed with Robert Eggers style, it has a good chance. I agree with you there and you're right about us not getting a serious vampire film in a long while. You would think that would be an easy sell to a studio!
I'm actually hoping a black & white version comes to disc as an option. Definitely going to be one to watch!

I don't want to say because I don't want to annoy you too much! 🤣 I just wasn't convinced by his performance. The films as a whole didn't have the charm of the 1990 TV movie and I think I've just overwatched that version so it's ruined this one. Maybe in time I will appreciate it more.

Looks good, finally after long last a decent vampire movie. The only thing I would have changed for this teaser is I would have not had dialogue in it.
We’re in need of a solid vampire horror! No dialogue would have been pretty cool!
At least they didn’t show Count Orlock’s face, which was a brilliant move.
