Alura used Kara, Hank let Alex use him, but then Alex showed how strong she is by telling Kara the truth and taking the risk of honesty. Kara realised this and forgave Alex for her honesty and bravery and loyalty to her friend. Kara showed she was a better sister than her mother since she could forgive her sister, but her mother could not.
This scene actually taught me to not get upset with people's action but to understand their intention and reason behind it. I had saved a lot of friendships that way. Which idk what that says about the decision making of a lot of my friends😂
Disha · To be honest, I’m not sure how they’ve ruined the show. After all, they wrote Falling. Season 4 was certainly intense and covered so much politics, social and real-life issues...but ironically, that resulted in being the show’s best season. Highly-consistent writing, a fantastic arc, great new characters...and of course, Jon Cryer’s Lex Luthor.
The sorrow and major regret in Alex's face, man. She was just doing what she thought was best for Kara. I don't think Astra would have done anything to stop myriad if she had lived. She was changing for the better, yes, but she wouldn't have stopped.
If Alex hadn't suffered another episode of "she's my sister and you can't have her!" none of that shit with Myriad would have happened. Astra wasn't going to kill Jonn, you don't tell someone you're going to kill them, you just do it lol. Jeez, all that woman does is think with her vagina.
Alex didn’t even need to kill astra, she could have simply incapacitated astra by stabbing her in the leg, or could have just hit her over the head and knocked her out.
@@agnikaineverdies7646 Didn't Astra have a kryptonite-invulnerable suit? Bringing it near her wouldn't have bothered her, but ramming it thru her alien flesh sure did.
TheEmpressDominique, astra wasn’t wearing the suit otherwise the kryptonite wouldn’t have pierced her, she was completely vulnerable, bringing kryptonite near her would weaken her. Alex probably killed her on instinct because she didn’t have time to think
J’onn had two girls of his own, but both of them were killed. Before Kara and Alex’s Father “died”, he asked J’onn to look after his girls for him. J’onn always felt like he failed his first family, so that’s why he was always so protective over Kara and Alex, because he didn’t want to lose two more daughters. I think that’s another reason he took the blame for Alex, because he knew that family splitting apart like he thought Kara and Alex would do is just as bad as losing them. He took the bad cop card so at least his girls could feel safe together. Another reason why Kara took his hand in the end. He had officially become their second Father (for Kara her third), and he was someone they could always trust and go to for advice. An amazing little family they have there. J’onn has two daughters again, and Kara and Alex have a Father again.

What else could she do but forgive her only sister when the only alternative was more loss?

Why did he decide to lie? Why didn’t they just say that Astra was trying to kill them both? Kara was angry because she believed that Astra had changed, when she really hadn’t. If she had changed, she wouldn’t still be fighting them. Kara doesn’t seem to understand that Astra’s choices has consequences.
She said why she lied it was because she didn't want to loose her remember Kara always say we don't kill John took the blame to protect Alex at that moment we don't know how Kara would of acted towards Alex she thought he'd aunt was change but she would of kill Jon
He lied because in some ways, Kara is a five year old. She always wants to believe the best in people and insists that given a choice, everyone will change. It's one of the few things that irritates me about Kara, to be honest. Some people are irredeemable and/or have no desire to be better.
