Something interesting is that you can see approval in Non's eyes for the briefest moment when Kara finishes. It's like for a second he forgot he was her enemy and not her uncle, but then it disappears quickly.

We stopped getting scenes like this because CW took over. The writers they brought in were just not into these kinds of scenes. Arrowverse was emotional, but not on this level and I think the decision to make this an Arrowverse type show hurt the show

anyone else noticed that she saves Alex from almost dying in a plane crash, and Lexie died in a plane crash. also, Alex was a doctor in Seattle before she ended up in s1 current day, Lexie was a doctor at grey Sloan memorial in Seattle. Plus, Alexandra Caroline Grey, and, Alexandra Danvers. breaks my heart, i miss Lexie so much. her and Mark deserved so much better. will always love Chyler's characters!

What I find most striking in this scene is how clear it is in Non's eyes that he wants nothing more than to kill Kara. Only his love for Alura and his commitment to honor her wishes are holding him in check. Superb and subtle performance by Chris Vance.
