For 7, it should have a shortcut in my oppinion.
control or shift or something + left click on the S icon to solo a track. Going through menus because you have more than 1 solo active and you want to solo only 1 track is an oversight for me.
By the way, Mr. Yadlovski: How recently did you present your course, Audio Essentials for Video Editors? Do you think you’ll have time to update it to reflect changes in Version 19 of DaVinci Resolve? I realize it might not be necessary at this time. I’m just wondering what version of DaVinci Resolve you used to create your course. I couldn’t tell from the description of the course on your site. Thanks again.😊

Unrelated, but is there a way to somehow save audio clip's effects as preset? I'm intending to use it in Fairlight to quickly apply needed effects with settings on a clip
If that's not the case, is there at least a way to crossfade between clips on SEPARATE tracks? (one track is clear, and another one with effects)
I've watched some of your tutorials, and yet it seems this has not been mentioned
On #4 Panning is that only on a system that has atleast a 5.1 Surround system? How do you get front to back panning without a Sourround speaker system or a Head set.
Correct, you won't get front to back on stereo speakers. On a headphone, there's some cool stuff that allows you to hear spatially all around.
I know I could just try out the beta, but if I could ask, are all of the great things only in the studio version?
Most of the really big things that you heard in the Blackmagic announcement are in studio. There are some that are in the free version, but many are in studio.
When i want to know fairlight, this is the channel i go to... For every DR update, this is my go to channel for fairlight..
The voice isolation is what i needed, but paying only for studio for that feature is high as all my other requirement is met by free version.. i record church sermons but sometimes had to use only camera mic which record lots of fan noise and reverb...
So can u suggest any plug in upto US $ 50 for DR which will do the same function as voice isolation ..
Thanks! Clarity VX from waves will do the same thing as voice isolation. I’ve got a video on it and you can usually find it on sale for 29.99 or so.

Unfortunately, I never had a coupon code, it just happens to go on sale pretty often, I would just keep an eye on it.

There will not be any promotions. The price is always $295 USD. Once you buy studio once, you get all of the updates for life.

And I know how the lifetime license works, but for hobby use only it's a bit on the high price... So I'm waiting for a nice deal like there has been in the past (It's F-ing cheap if you do commercial work though)
Is voice isolation only available in studio?
Yes, it’s only available in studio.
@@JasonYadlovski thanks I’m noticing since I’m diving deeper into DR that some of the features I want is in the studio version which is great because free updates but it just make following along harder (talking about DR training videos) but it thanks dude, appreciate your channel and Casey channel and your combine efforts. You help me learn so much in so little, better than my beginner class. Keep dropping the videos 😎

No revamp for the course. Everything that’s in it will always remain true when it comes to working with audio, any updates and new features will not change it. The basic methods, tools, how to use them and how to work with your audio will always be the same.
That all well & Good If one UNDERSTANDS what all those SQUIGGLY lines mean, Pretty worthless when U don't Understand. So my question Sir Jason where does one obtain the KNOWLEDGE to even use featuers of witch you speak Boss.

I second that. With the exception of a single time it froze up on me (which was probably my own fault for throwing around too much data), I've had no issues with it either 👍
