***** Post watch update at the end ****
Very excited to start watching this video!!!
I played my JP Signature model in Boston last Friday night. I got three offers from people to buy it on the spot, and a dozen compliments on the “ beautiful/ lovely/ amazing/ clear/powerful “sound from it. And now…. I’m jealous of my own guitar 😢😢😢 Does Boucher do tune ups on vocal cords? I need a set up 😅😅
    ********************Update*************
I didn’t think I could be any more proud to own Boucher model SM JP #48. “The Lida”
I was wrong. Now if you’ll excuse me, I’m off to spend a rainy, soulful, summer evening shaking hands with an ol’ friend. 🎵 🎶
Kudos to Les Guitares Boucher inc, and J.P. Cormier…..A friendship that bares the magnitude of others.
    Thank You

The guitars that you review are magical but they are way out of reach for most of us. I love the video you made that showed us the Indonesian Epiphones because those guitars were in our reach, also the Sigma Chinese models were great as well. Actually I've been playing since I was a kid but only electric most of the time and those lower priced acoustic reviews got me out of the doldrums, they were great videos so how about it John more guitars in our price range? When I buy a new acoustic it goes directly to my luthier before I touch it and that Indonesian Hummingbird blew him away.

Very nice guitar, my question would be: isn't that kind of large Pickguard taking some of the sound out? Especially for a smaller body guitar... If it was me, I would do it out of thin wood and suspend it on points glued so it will take as little as possible from the vibration of the top.

What is the tonal difference between bone, Tusq and Ebony bridge pins? Which is most favorable for playing bluegrass on a Rosewood or Mahogany Dreadnought?

JP. This is definitely one of my most favorite of your videos. How satisfying it must be for Robin to hear what he's created in the hands of an expert.
