Nice review. Good to think on getting a Velcro strap to hold the fold. I’ve been enjoying putting out the idea of a foldable motorcycle ramp to basically remove much of the 68 lbs from equation. I use ramp both for in/out of truck bed and back of medium sized SUV wagon. For wagon, I pop seat & post off, fold handlebar, roll it up ramp, tilt at angle to clear hatch door, lay down gently not on derailleur and voila. Reverse for out. Wagon rear seat folded down, no need to fold bike. I winter bike down to zero degrees, cannot have a rear carrier with salty spray all over bike. Old geezer stiff legs, how excellent this step through design!! Local Aventon dealer for service, I put air in tires and oil the chain, that’s all I want to do, retirement is about fun, while may. Side saddle bag and top bag on back rack, I always carry along a small 5 lb. DC powered air compressor in case of slow to medium/fast air leak on trail. I’ve stopped every half mile and quickly refilled to get back and have “the guy” fix the flat. Love my Sinch, call it “Hill Leveler”.

I agree! But I still bought it for the convenience of folding. They knew they could get away with it. At least have the lights

I have this model bought it last year and I absolutely love it. It’s a great smooth comfortable ride on our bike way called the green way. I usually take it for a 1 1/2 -2 mile ride everyday. I cover a lot of ground. The only I change was purchasing a more comfortable saddle.

I'm not sure I've seen it for the Sinch, but several other brands of folding ebikes fit nicely in a 40 or 60 gallon tote from a hardware store to keep them from rattling around in a SUV trunk or wherever.

Great review. May I know the measurements (L,W,H) when the bike is folded? I appreciate it. Thanks.

Really nice review, one of the better ones on the Aventon Sinch. What was your experience with the range of the battery?

1800 is just too much especially without lights or a rack. They must be really proud of it because it is a good looking bike but the price is just way too steep for a baseline folding bike

Finally an ebike that keeps the speed to 20 mph with pedaling and no unlocking code to go to 25 without pedaling!

Not a big fan of Ebikes in general, however, thanks for posting it. I would say your video piqued my curiosity for a street consumer ebikes.

I’m 6 3” and unfortunately 245, works for me. Love it. Can’t wait to get on again each day, even winter down to zero degrees, just bundle up really well and avoid ice and slippery.

This bike is too heavy. I can't see the 'target market' being able to lift it in/out of the trunk.
