8:15 "It's the best-looking folding ebike we've ever seen." I'd have to also agree, and I love how y'all tested this over different terrains especially over sand and snow too! Nice fly-through video shot y'all!
I like this type of looking foldable, and the candy apple red is cool too. I always did not particularly like the battery being placed underneath as the weight was pulling down thinking if it does come loose I’d have no opportunity to grab it. However you guys are smarter than I, and thought further on than that seeing water being an issue which would suck if that wasn’t not addressed by the manufacturer actually more so company as they are the ones who will suffer by far the most.
@@freshlycharged Mostly riding on city streets…commuting to work. Also joy riding in my small town in Michigan that does have some decent hills (getting tougher to climb as I get older). I like your last-line words dude lol. I just ordered one and have been wondering if I made a good purchase, but based on your review I think I did. I can't wait to see it in person. Great review though, good job guys!
If you check out some of the of the videos on the spike you will see that you can adjust the dampening on the front shocks and that would alleviate the problem of bottoming out.
As of today 3/7/23 internal packaging for the Sinch ST has improved with nicer Aventon branded boxes and a nicer newer ebike multitool and Aventon branded charger. The fenders and the rear rack does come free with purchase from Aventon or an authorized retailer!!!
Wow you guys are awesome. I ride an EUC but of course I want my wife to ride along. She’s still learning the EUC lol. I saw the Heybike Mars and decided to get the Ranger. Now I’m second guessing myself. Advise please lol!
We love the EUC. The Heybike Ranger looks similar to the Mars. It comes with fenders and racks, but the fit and finish isn't as nice. I did notice our plastic fenders on the Heybike Mars would bend would I put it in my car. The Aventon Sinch Step Through is the nicest looking foldable ebike we've reviewed, but you're going to pay a premium for it. Plus you'll have to spend more money for fenders and a rack. So, ultimately it comes down to budget. If budget was no issue, I would go with the Sinch Step Through.
Put a deposit on the moss green model. As a middle-aged dude with lower back pain and two hip reconstructions, appreciate your analysis on the comfort of this design. Test drove it yesterday and was satisfied with the seat. Your thoughts?
Nice one! I think they nailed it with the look but surprised to see no lights. Even the Soltera has lights. Heck the rear ones are even built into the frame.
Nice review. Unless it was just the angle, it looks like they finally added a bit more padding for shipment. Having easier access to the battery is nice but I do like the trade off of having the battery inside my Sinch. It just feels well protected inside, especially from any issue of slightly displacing like others have had with other models. I wonder if that would be an increased possibility with this model on more rugged terrain?
It think this is target at the 55+ crowd aka retire! They usually get ebikes with 250W 36V and priced at a big premium price because they do not know the difference!
Nice video! Not keen on the battery cover.. that seemed almost like an after thought with the way it was fitted.. How would you compare this to say,... a Mate X or Mate City ?
No need to carry the bike up the stairs. Push the down arrow for a few seconds for the walk assist feature. Fenders & cargo rack have been offered for free lately. It is more of a sit upright & cruise bike. You get used to it pretty quickly.
I have ridden quite a few foldable ebikes with the same stand on the bottom. I've never had that issue of it catching on to something, but can see it happening if you rolled over a big rock with the front tire. I've never had it happened, but you may have cursed us now. Never ever say never ever!
That bike okay I'm not a big fan of folding bikes the other bike just like this one that does not phone the battery is on the side of the frame which that's good
Unfortunately this company has really gone down hill in its quality. Spent most of the past year on hundreds of their ebikes, dealing with poor battery fit, poor quality brakes, considerable mis alignment problems, frequent battery issues, batteries falling out of bikes, controller issues, wiring harness issues, constant brake squealing, low or no hydraulic brake fluid, bad brake seals, tubes busting when new, major derailleur quality problems including slipping, and brake caliper mounting issues, and poor paint quality with multiple defects. Even a number of their welds are arriving not smoothed. Constant delays even when they have product in stock, lack of parts, and basically no spare batteries, or fenders for months on end. They still have no batteries for the Aventure or Level or Sinch. The battery button on the Aventure fails to work on many of them, causing immense customer frustration. The several years old battery sticking problems on the Paces are only being resolved by dumping that model with a new Pace that has lower quality LG cells and shorter range. Their tires are a mess, some high pressure, some low pressure, some with no names, and the number of variety of derailleurs is a joke. Its like they are throwing this crap together just to crank out as many as they can. They are also dumping all the repairs and warranty work on dealers for people who purchase at Best Buy, as if dealers don't have their hands full with all the quality problems and defects for the bikes they sell. They hire people who have no background in the bike industry, and now are putting unqualified dealers stacked on top of each other. A lot of dealers seem to have dumped Aventon in the past year, so they are scrambling to find new more gullible ones who know nothing about ebikes or the problems that will ensue. The battery fit on the SInch ST is atrocious and sticks out, and will pinch your fingers closing it. It gets stuck trying to open it. Just like the same fit and finish issues with the Aventure and Level batteries. Good luck everyone.

*3K miles on my Sinch Step Thru in 3 months with no problems Love It!*
Any squeaks on the folding hinge when riding?
@@jeffmpvd7689 No, but I've never folded the Bike not even once. I bought it only because of its cool looks! 4600 miles now.
You guys are awesome, and that bike looks great, Aventon bikes look high quality and I like the paint job, great video.!!
Thanks for the kind words! We appreciate your support!
Great job guys. I really enjoy your videos and since I just bought my new Sinch ST today this one provides valuable insight. Keep up the great work!
Let us know what you think! What will you be using it for?

How comfortable is it ? It seems like no one ever mention how comfortable a bike is !!

I love watching my old Asian brothers trying out my favourite electric vehicles respect guy 🙏👍🏾🤣
Hi little brother!
I heard that you could pedal the original sinch over 30 mph with assist. Will this one pedal over 20 mph on PAS? Thanks and great video.
Nice one! I think they nailed it with the look but surprised to see no lights. Even the Soltera has lights. Heck the rear ones are even built into the frame.
Lights would be nice, but not a deal breaker.
@@freshlycharged agreed
The Soltera and Aventure both have lights built into the frame. I was surprised I didn't see any lights on this bike.
Great video guys. It was said that it’s somewhat awkward
Peddling but what would you think about changing the handlebars out for
A better feel ?

I didn’t quite catch what you said about the throttle. Will it activate from zero speed … or does the bike need to roll first?
Any recommendations for an e-bike that has more of a motorcycle or dirtbike look? I don't want an e-bike that looks like a regular bike...
I think you'll like this one. There's also a link in the description to a FPV ride.

What's the top speed? Can you unlock it to go faster?
Do any owners of this bike feel it could use more power for the extra fun factor? Build and finish looks excellent.

When its folded up, can it be transported by pushing it on its wheels, or does it need to be lifted up?
It can be pushed on the wheels, but it's clumsy.

Have yet to try the Mate.
@@freshlycharged ah ok! Thanks for the reply :)
How much does the bike weigh?
im 5 11 this bike shoud be good to me? currently have the sondors step from costco

I seen a channel called gonagain saying that the stand on the bottom can catch on stuff and chuck the rider off.

Why no torque sensor? 😑
Most ebikes are hub Motors. Torque sensors are nicer but they make ebikes a lot more expensive.
