Election 'pretty catastrophic' for Tories but 'we have opportunity to regroup', says ex-chancellor

- Former Tory cabinet minister Nadhim Zahawi has said the public was "right" to vote his party out of government, adding that now was the time to "regroup".
Mr Zahawi, who stepped down ahead of the general election, told Sunday Morning With Trevor Phillips the results last week were "pretty catastrophic" for the Conservatives.

Tories never learn, they think this is just a blip. They say they must learn from their mistakes but what they really mean is the electorate must learn from their mistakes.

Immigration is just one of the reasons they lost, the list is endless. Main concern for voters was NHS and cost of living and then immigration and housing. Plus tories are seen as entitled, lying corrupt and incompetent.
