- Welcome to Gaus DIY channel, this video is about the experiment comparing the strength of Baking Soda, Cement, Sawdust, cotton when combined with Super Glue, through this video we will know which type is best for repairing plastic, wood and metal items.
Then practical application in repairing broken plastic items, car bumpers, chair, and repairing scissors right at home.

Much better experimental process
I think the testing is not fair because you are using different amount of cement or baking powder etc. For example the height of the powder/CA glue base are different so it’s not controlled. If you put more cement powder and it reaches higher in the screw I’d think the geometry will give it more strength, for example.
Gracias por el dato es muy útil, faltaria el polvo de carbón ideal para plásticos negros
Something tells me the setup is flawed. Base for the test objects seems incompatible. Maybe I am wrong.
Big improvement on methodology.
Baking soda link on the description 🤑
Next time use table salt
Please do these tests if you can:
graphite powder
graphite powder plus soda
metal powders (aluminium, brass, copper)
yes, i will test it
I use wood flour gleaned from inside my bandsaw.
It's also very good
What about graphite powder?
I haven't tested it yet
Do sugar and salt work... Baking soda is expensive..?
I haven't tried it with sugar and salt, but I think it's ok
Baking soda is cheap here, super glue is expensive 😅
