What a line up for 2024! Most looking forward to Mercs fulfillment and those Force Manuals. Awesome stuff. ( Leak is now news as of 1/29 : Check it out here -- ruclips.net/video/MtDcbyIgvco/видео.html )
I have a slim hope that the Universe book or the Force manuals might include a few new Warships. I'm one of the people who enjoys the ground focused games but prefer the space focused game systems. My least favorite aspect of the Blakist wars is how badly they screwed up Warship production. I thought everyone would continue designing new Warships since the Inner Sphere factions each had only a few in production, (I believe the Free Worlds League was the only faction with four in production, five if you count the join Free World and Capellan Destroyer which ceased production as relations between the two nations soured). I expected the Clans to have to create new Warship designs to counter the new Inner Sphere designs. Then came along the writers of Wizkids armed with the Blakists and a giant figurative Sledgehammer to smash my hopes for the future of the setting's space aspect.
I am very confused about the books. Do I need them to play different versions of the game? I have just been collecting the minis and painting them. What is a force manual? Universe book? Technical read out? Etc. If anyone has time to answer, thanks in advance.
@@bobafett2243 … Force Manuals may have some additional flavor rules for Alpha Strike, but not needed. TROs have rules adjacent info in them for variants and other things for classic. The Universe Book is like a massive lore primer for BattleTech. In short … none of these are needed. The actual “rule books” are … Mech Commanders Handbook (heavy BT classic Mech centric rules) … Total Warfare (adds in all sorts of additional unit types (naval, air, tanks, etc.) for use in Classic BattleTech) … and then finally we have the AlphaStrike Commanders Edition (all the rules for AlphaStrike). But wait! If you have any of the box games you ALSO have a set of rules in that box to play with. 😜 Hope that somewhat helps. It’s worth a video of its own. 👍
@@bobafett2243 Technical Readouts are collections of stats and background on new designs and new variants for existing designs. Force Manuals are information on specific factions or units within the setting
Little leak action. I’m only going off of memory … but shots of factory packing out a lance of 4 in a box. Probably other packaged version (salvage box) coming as well. 👍
@@TheRealSleggarLaw was taken down pretty quickly. Someone out there may have captures. I honestly didn’t hunt too hard. Heard from some they saw same/similar thing though.
I think you confuse CGL and I as wanting to have culture war debates. I’m sure you can find other outlets to direct whatever need you have here toward.
Fortress is pretty awesome. Sells exclusives and ships world wide I believe.
3:34 me as an Australian we EVENTUALLY can get the Barnes and Noble stuff yes it is problamatic , but is what it is

Of course it is barns and noble exclusive.
O well guess I will make a phone call again....
Sorry Snarky. Don’t love the more limited release myself … even though I am “State side”.

Some rumblings awhile back from CGL about how they would love to rekindle Aerospace. There is hope.
@@box2battle I hope it works out. Thanks for telling me.

I never saw the savannah master pack on the kickstarter, what’s the scoop?

Now with more woke nonsense.
That a new mech? I am unfamiliar? What role does it fulfill? Seems like it is geared up for harassment and skirmishing.
Preventing people from making comments in your newest video. You argue in bad faith. And you hate criticism. And you're very much like CGL, congrats.
