High pass, Darvor Manor and Freeport. Use to wake up after passing out grouping and would wake up stuck on that barrel in DM right next to where you’d respawn.
Such an underrated game, the best game of all time then and forever. Eternal gratitude to witness something so detrimental to the gaming community that still lives on after death only to one day rise again like a phoenix from the ashes. A void created by the loss of this game that cannot be relinquished by the actual game inspired by it after nor before it, but once again the light will shine upon Norrath.
I'm right there with ya. Favorite game by far and always will be. I'm now 50 years old. Played many games on many different systems. This one right here is THE BEST!
It never occured to me that this game - which I had heard about but never played - had a soundtrack I could loon up until RUclips recommended it to me. What a beautiful soundtrack and one of Soules best works. I hope he'll get back into the business someday. Have been listening to this on repeat for two days now.
God I miss this game. Unlike EQ1 and EQ2 this game felt massive. I know in actuality the world was small but the lack of load times was extremely impressive
"I was doubly surprised by EQOA this past week, which I did not think was possible now that the game’s been out of commission for a couple of years. My first surprise was that when I started listening to the soundtrack, it wasn’t early EverQuest’s MIDI bloops but a rich, sweeping score that ranks right up there with the other titles in the series. My second surprise was seeing Jeremy Soule as one of the MMO’s composers (along with Jeremy Bell, Rob King, and Paul Romero). I did not know he was attached to this project, but it does explain that touch of mastery it has." - Jukebox Heroes: EverQuest Online Adventures
This is absolutely beautiful!! Thank you for doing this for ALL us!! I have been wanting to hear all the MIDI turned into real instruments! I am not knocking the MIDI, it was indeed beautiful but my god for the first time to hear this! Too bad I was not here during the first posting of this, but thank you SO much for keeping this up for everyone!!
Oh wow.. I havent heard this music since 2003. I was 16 years old and the whole concept of an MMO blew my mind. I have such fond memories of sneaking to my ps4 after my family had gone to bed and playing until the early hours! Thank you for this nostalgia!
If there is one game i have fond memories of its this one, my first MMORPG. As basic as it was on the ps2 it was still a breathtaking and magical experience. Heck even the intro screams at you, "time for an adventure like no other!"
This would work as a Star Trek movie soundtrack. Orchestrated like a Brahms symphony. Sometimes i get a reminder like this that orchestral music isn't dead, and should never die.
A download link for a local copy is included in the description, in FLAC format. But I can't upload to Spotify (if this is what you mean), because it can be done only by the artist of these music

Really cool, very nostalgic. Thanks for posting this.
ARG! The heart aches with the good memories of EQOA. The original. I don’t miss wOW nor Skyrim when I don’t dive in.
An elegant soundtrack... from a more civilized age.
I would pass out in highpass and wake up to this many times.
And my console froze from the massive amounts of load it put on due to the congested areas. xD
Dude yes! This was my favorite track to fall asleep to after a long night of grinding xp 🙌

I miss the game more than anything. No other MMO has recaptured the essence and excitement like this one did. Wish it could be revived.
Music was very underrated for this game. Some beautifully arranged tracks here.
Runnyeye Citadel was my favorite battle track when I acquired Frontiers.
I love the sense of quality and occasion this gives to the whole thing

halas the best by far, i would sit in halas main bridge for hours and sleep to it

Were there no zonelines?
Oh man. Right in the feels.
Castle Lightwolf represent!
month 1 player of eqoa on clw!
MrDaavee Same 🤘
Listening to this right now while leveling in Shadowlands
Riverdale has the best music for each iteration. But the Classic upbeat EQ Riverdale soundtrack is still the best of all the EQ music.

Halas is one of my favorite sounds

Playing this in the background whilst running around in Sandstorm.
Ohhhh we're getting there folks! Before too long we will be back...home.
Diren Hold checking in
Diren Hold alumni as well.

I regret having never had the chance to play and explore the world of this game. This music would have sold it.
Thank you so much I'm actually tearing up to this I miss this game
Thank you for this, the calming nature I didn't expect but remember...
Coming back to this for dnd bgm
Long live! Game made me fall in love with the genre
Good lord such beautiful music that I miss so fucking much
This soundtrack might as well be the OST of my childhood
This would work as a Star Trek movie soundtrack. Orchestrated like a Brahms symphony.

Thank you. This brings back so many feels
Wow what a sound track
Playing p99 atm with this in the background.. nostalgia overload lol, Love it. Thank you for this.
Miss this game so much =(
Good God. Have them consider putting these tracks on the official or P99 servers. It's beautiful.
Love it ❤ do we know who composed this music?
That Highpass music was my bedtime music XD
Thank you for the upload! I really feel that Plane of Sky is missing!
I missed Plane of Sky because I wanted to include only symphonic tracks with a real orchestra :/
Can you do another video with the non-orchestral tracks? Such as the Race themes during the create a character menu?
I will see in the future if I can do that, thanks
This slaps
Skyrim nor WOW has the same feel as this
Noroxus is a riff on John Williams.
So awesome!:)
Is there any way we can get these downloaded onto spotify?

Leathaldose evolution
Mmmm yes
Omg 😢
How can this NOT have the EQ theme song?
I'm sorry, I decided to only put symphonic tracks from EQOA, the theme song is not made with a real orchestra :/
@@federicodubbini-composer Gotcha, Thanks
