why are people making videos about the wrap? its hideous... the adhesive will fail over time, and itll just attract dirt and grime... everything else is neat tho
I love your pacing. Doesn't feel dragging. Doesn't feel rushed. Get a lot of info from you in a good amount of time. You've gained a sub. Looking forward to your other stuff.
Personally, that build plate works extremely well for me. I have been printing really long and flat prints 24/7 recently for my businesses and have been having corner lifting issues. With this plate I have completely eliminated that issue
@swooshdave I agree, but I think they thought if they put that screen on the p1s that most people would buy it instead of the carbon because it's 2x the price with only a couple bells and whistles. That's why I bought the p1s.
what's the point, I barelly use the display anyway. the phone app and the laptop app does the job 95% of the time, remaining 5% is covered nicely by the digital display
hi, about the display, is it possible to adjust the contrast to get a darker background? also is it necessary to leave the original display of the P1S? can only the Bigtreetech be installed?
I've been strongly considering some of these upgrades from my p1s. The ones that I didn't trust me or the light the hardened gears and of course the screen though I am a little hesitant on the screen as I have seen some posts on Reddit doggin on it
The energy savings through lower temps for build plates is really only ever relevant if you print 24/7, like you said. The ROI of the build plate is horrible, so I really dislike that "justification" many people bring for buying that plate.
Kind of hard to take you as a credible source of info when all of the upgrades you say are the best upgrades for the p1s were all made by the same company and all sent to you by that company
Yes, 1000%. You cannot go wrong with Bambu. I’ve had my P1P since before the P1S existed and I’ve never really had any issues with it, and I have it printing almost 24/7 for my business now.
@@BuildyBrycewould not recommend using that because it can damage the board in the p1s because it’s withdrawing to much electricity since it’s powering 2 lights

God that tacky vinyl wrap looks absolutely awful, I don’t understand why anyone would put that on their printer.
why are people making videos about the wrap? its hideous... the adhesive will fail over time, and itll just attract dirt and grime... everything else is neat tho
Ngl the actual adhesive does feel like it's good quality... it's just a shame about the rest of it
Because they're actually just making videos about all the free shit they got from Biqu/BigTreeTech who are doing an influencer blitz.

The fur still looks silly, but i do appreciate the ability to customise the look of my printer
I agree. I love the look but it also looks cheesy... love hate.

I'm convinced to buy the P1S now!!
Some of this after market BS is like throwing one of those cheap spoilers on a old Honda civic, looks cute but hit 55 mph and it’s going to fall off
The spoiler should go on the front, that is where the drive wheels are located... Ha.
This is the content I've been waiting for. Finally someone who gets straight to the point and useful mods!
Here to say your ad dollars on jerry rig everything was a good investment.
Why hasn’t Bambu put the screen from the A1 on the P1S yet?
They want you to buy the carbon.
@@justinorwen1739Yeah, but the A1 is significantly cheaper than the P1S but has the better interface?

isnt the panda touch useless atm since the filmware is outdated?
Mine is working fine!
@@BuildyBryce ahh appreciate the response!!! Will get one myself now😁
@@StancherMist0Don't, even with the firmware currently working it's junk.
Does the protective vinyl wrap also reduce noise? Do you have any thoughts about this?
Interesting thought! It probably does, but it's definitely not a noticeable amount to my ears
@@BuildyBryce Thanks.

main benifit of being able to print a low temp is the extruder and hotend won't overheat and jam all the time

I'm thinking of getting the P1S. Will I be happy?

Ya... You only need the touch and an e3d obxidian nozzle.
You always losing your Door🤔 1:17 ok that makes sense 1:26 😅
A bit panda heavy .. 😜
These "upgrades" seem pointless!
Kinda what I was thinking.....waste of money
The quick swap extruder seems nice, but not for 120+ euros
Be better off buying a roll of monokote or ultracoat (what we use to skin rc airplanes) and many more options. But I wouldnt put a skin on it myself.
That print on the replacement plate wasn't good could see the bottom wasn't smooth, can see in the video too it's lifting compared to the textured
It's a textured plate, it's not meant to be smooth :)
nice vid! on 0:52 you plugged it in a block with 4 connection. how and where do get that one?
Included with the Panda Lux
@@BuildyBrycewould not recommend using that because it can damage the board in the p1s because it’s withdrawing to much electricity since it’s powering 2 lights
Great
All the BIQU stuff is junk. It's called Panda because Bambu won't let them associate their name with any of it.
how does this only have 40 views after 2 hours
£100 for a hotend. Yeah no thanks
