Love your videos! I just bought a 4070Ti after watching some of your benchmarks, and it's great! I paired it with an i9 13900k and 128gb of Ram since I'm a software developer and I also use my PC to code. I'm running Hogwarts Legacy at 1440p ultra dlss +FG and I'm having a blast. Truly a beast of card. Too bad it's expensive.
@@Kultz i am software dev too and 64-128Gb is a must have (64 is a minimum:p) the dev software are huge consumer of ram and also make cpu jump above 120 degree celcius with files indexations when there is millons of files in a projet. Undervolting is also our friend as ram is :p
I remember when I owned a Titan X, isn’t a perfect card but it’s still very capable for your average 1080p gamer. Probably my favorite card that I’ve owned and 8 years later, still kicking. Respect 👏

There we go, the Maxwell King! One of my favorite GPUs of all time, still going strong these days and it looks beautifull! When I have enough money, I´m gonna buy that one just to put it on my shelf 😅 I think 1080p High with FSR2 Q is the way to go here, but since it has alot of VRAM, I would put the Textures to maximum always. I wish you could run this game in DX10, I would love to see what my little GT140 with 512MB would achive😂

I can't believe anyone thinks it's surprising that a $1,000+ card can run a game 8 years later on medium settings on a 1080p or 1440p monitor. That's the least we should expect. Game graphics simply have not advanced that much since 2016. Most of the limitations people run into are driver related or limitations in vram or ram.
I disagree with you about the 4090's long term performance. I am personally much more optimistic about how today's cards will age. The same upscaling technologies that are enabling older cards to perform well in titles like this will also enable today's cards (and the PS5/XSX) to perform well years into the future. Especially since upscaling technologies keep getting better and better. It's gonna be pretty interesting to see how things unfold, because the PS5 and XSX heavily used 60 FPS (and even 120) as a marketing point, yet they're already reliant on upscaling to achieve 60. They will probably only get more reliant in upscaling as games evolve. So one hand we'll have pressure from the huge console market to deliver 60 FPS games on essentially 2020 mid-high end hardware, while on the other hand we'll have AMD and NVIDIA who won't be happy that people don't upgrade their GPUs as often anymore because games are still playable.

Weird my Titan has a hard time with RDR2 but everything else is great without OC.My 1060 had better FPS,thought it would be an upgrade.Time to run 2 titans sli and that should do it. 12g memory and most effects on RDR2 tie into the core clock that affects performance.Elden ring really sped up with the titanx
The GTX 980 TI should have more-or-less the same performance! Except maybe at 4k and 1440p. Since VRAM is sadly that important nowadays. 6GB still not that bad though, especially at 1080p. Wonder how the regular 980 will do. I forgot if you tested it yet. It should perform like the GTX 1060 6gb. Maybe a bit worse due to the VRAM.
Zwormz do you know why Linux not limiting my gpu but Windows does (Intel HD graphics 3000) if im sure it supports up to OpenGL 3.1 And Minecraft 1.19.3 (latest version) need OpenGL 4.5 but on Linux it runs the 1.19 And shaders too but on Windows 10 it can't run at least 1.17 And can't run shaders do you know why ?

Damn. I remember how expensive this card was for that time. Now i can run this game on RTX3060 ultra set in 1080p with playable fps. Another one approvement that there is no sense of buying expensive card.
a good friend of mine having a 3060ti and me having a 3080, we got both kinda same fps but the latenzy is hell of a difference in this game, 3080 is about 13-15ms in 1440p ultra and 3060ti is about 60-80ms in 1080p ultra. So theres is definitely a reason to buy a "better" card. In terms of fps maybe not but frames are not everything
I agree. If you really desire 1440p or even 2160 and you are ready to spend your cash, well, the choice is yours. But if you wanna save your money, you can buy cheapest but newest card. Old one can be sold.
Im cpu bottlenecked in this game and i overclocked my cpu to 4.2 ghz and its only about 40 percent better. What cpu should i get? I have a r5 3600 and a b550 msi motherboard. Dlss gets me to like 57 fps average in hogsmeeed.

Man it's so sad to comprehend though how pretty much just because it's still relevant today doesn't change the fact that it's a thousand dollar card (let this sink in for a second--nVidia's bullshit greed is at the point, an 80 costs as much as a Titan basically) that needs AMD to keep it more relevant. It's a Titan so it's not useless due to nVidia's bad VRAM, but it's just really funny to me seeing what'd basically be proprietaryTM branded bullshit getting shilled as some sort of "ultra relevant gimmick you have to have!" if it was nVidia but instead it is AMD and so it is open source and all the GTX owners are relying on AMD to help their cards keep limping along. Including me myself. My laptop used to be quite relevant, then yesteryear it was pretty sad now it's not actually even sad it's just flatly unplayable at medium settings on my GTX mobile without using AMD technology.
at least for me 30 fps is really bad, my problem with less than 60 fps is that it really didnt felt smoth at all in any game, i can see the laggy on the screen, for me less than 60 fps is really bad, "playable" but really bad
My gpu was was reaching 78c it is hot but safe i undervolte my 3060 ti and my temp is 74c now you can try my settings -160 on core clock and in the core clock curve set it to 875mv at 1890 mhz and and overclock the memory a bit to +700 and you can also change the thermal paste

Not if they lock it behind a new generation. Like with DLSS 3, which can only be used with a Rtx 4000.
