OMG, these look AMAZING and I REALLY want to make them - but I CAN'T! If you live in The States or Canada, please be grateful because YOU guys can get pretty much ANY and EVERY ingredient you will EVER need to make ANYTHING! Where I currently live, I can't even get effing vanilla extract, let alone silicone skull molds - ARRGGGHHHH!
Anyway, still love you BakeLikeAPro. but also still waiting for mini moist ginger cake recipe PLEASE!... ❤

Very cool! Soo funky ! Did you just let them harden like that, in a room, not in the fridge? Or was the room a bit cold? 👻 🧛 🧟 😱
In the area where I live, some people celebrate Halloween (and others celebrate All Saints' Day), but it's not really a deep-rooted tradition. When I see the creativity that some people put into Halloween decorations, costumes, baked goods and recipes, it's really inspiring! 🎃 🕸🎃 🕷🎃 🕸 🎃🕷🎃

Hello ! I just left them on the counter to harden, I can do this because the chocolate is tempered, so with time, the chocolate hardens to its original state. If you do *not* harden, that won't happen, so chilling in the fridge will do that for you. Chilling will shrink the chocolate, it will compress it, and it will pull away from the mould. Thanks so much for watching ! 😊

Hello, thanks for watching ! 🙂 I used dark chocolate that contains 72% cocoa butter. It's a high quality Swiss chocolate. That said, you can use any type of chocolate you enjoy, as long as it melts correctly. My chocolate was tempered ( in a chocolate machine ) but - you can melt your chocolate over a double boiler - this is the *safest* way to melt chocolate without burning it. Once you fill your mold, you want to put it into the fridge for a good 20 minutes, or even 30 minutes. This will make the chocolate *contract* and pull away from the mold, and it will fall out easily. With tempered chocolate I don't need to do that, ( I do not put the mold in the fridge at all during the process ) I hope this helps ! P.S. you can real chocolate, compound chocolate, and even chocolate melts - which are a candy. They melt and harden and do not melt in your hand. ( Google " Wilton Candy Melts " )

I have got the same mold. It does NOT work for ice cubes ! The water seeps out of the middle of the mold 🙂

As you see it works nicely with chocolate, because chocolate is much thicker than water. So now you have a great excuse to use it again ! 🙂
