  • In this video I give a detailed explanation of how to make chocolate spheres and color them with luster dust. Chocolate spheres can be used to decorate a cake or for a melting chocolate ball dessert. You can use candy melts for this purpose as well, but I prefer the taste of white, milk or dark chocolate. Here is the link for the chocolate spheres.

    Hi - how to you store the chocolate spheres? If I put the chocolate spheres on a cake can I put the cake in the fridge overnight?

    • @TheCrumbCakeKitchen
      @TheCrumbCakeKitchen  4 года назад +1

      I store them in the fridge. Since they are chocolate, they can be stored just like a chocolate bar. If your fridge is very cold and your room is too warm they may sweat a little when you take them out of the fridge. I've never had any issues. That's why I love them, so easy to work with. The spheres will be fine on a cake. Thanks

    hi, how to avoid condensation of the chocolate balls, when it's taken out from fridge, what can be done when it sweat?

    • @TheCrumbCakeKitchen
      @TheCrumbCakeKitchen  3 года назад

      The warmer your room is the more condensation you'll get. Ir you make the chocolate balls a few days ahead, you don't need to put them in the fridge at all. You haven't changed the product from it's original state, just the shape.

    How is d dust not mixing with the choc?

    • @TheCrumbCakeKitchen
      @TheCrumbCakeKitchen  4 года назад +1

      In a way it does. The chocolate sets and attaches to the dust. It’s set in the outer layer of chocolate and doesn’t rub away. That’s why it works so well.
