After listening to your medical history and ongoing issues, I shall never ever again complain if I'm sidelined for a week or so. You've come back more than I've been out. Glad to see you kicking
To the one person who down voted this. I hope you stub your toe. Keep it up man you're truly an inspiration and you've helped so many people with your videos myself included. Thank you very much.
I once had 11 tick bites after going for a hike. Doc told me im competely fine, but i felt absolutely disgusting on and off for a month. Like half of the week i felt disgusting while i felt somewhag decent the other 3 days lol
I can definitely vouch for his bodyweight program. Many times I found myself muttering profanities at whoever wrote it (don't take it personally Brian) 😂. Am on 2nd iteration of his strength program now and have been steadily making gains.
I’ve always admired you for your giant set philosophy. I tried it for a while. I stopped b/c I hated going to my 7pm-7am shift feeling like I was gonna puke. Lol.
Seriously who disliked this video? Brian you're the man. True inspiration with all you've been through your entire life. Loved your interview with EliteFTS. Keep going strong my guy
Hey Brian, Can you make a video about: *If you should train to failure if you're training for strength *How many sets you should do for each body part in a training
Hi Brian, thank you for putting your heart into all your content. I'm not sure if you or somebody you know, can suggest anything for rock climbers. I'm prioritizing lifting, and climbing is more of an enjoyable activity that is part of my lifestyle. But I thought there might be a way to tailor my workouts to have some more carryover to climbing. If you don't know, all is well just thought I'd ask, and thanks again.
Congrats on the 200k man. Well deserved. Good to see some training and I personally enjoy this format where the focus is the training and not so much the perfect camera angles and such. Just seems more real.
Missed you brother. Every since the gyms closed and with Corona out there, it has been a lot harder to hit the weight I was lifting and doing power/olympic based movements. Seeing you at the home based gym and still able to do your work is inspiring. Not sure you have done a video on this but I wonder if you have done a home gym based tour as I have started my own.
Bro can you makes a video on the top 20 books you recommend to us.. i like your content and I watched it all the time and i am impressed how strong and knowledgeable u are.. keep up the hard work
As far as I know, you can't message people through DM on youtube unless they're a business account, but I may be wrong. Just something to take in mind when you try to contact the winners.
Hey Brian, this is unrelated to the topic of the video but what do you think is the ratio of the BSS to the back squat? For example if you can do 100kgx5 bulgarian squats about how much should you be able to squat?
Your workouts are so cool. You don't seem to do any single joint stuff, how come? I've had a lot of benefit doing single joint work at least from a mass perspective
I have tried doing them in the past many times throughout my career, but I’ve honestly never really Gotten much out of them. The peoples bodies respond different ways so I’m glad that it helps you out! But it kind of seems like a waste of time for someone like me
What do you recommend for maximizing grip strength for bent over rows before someone decides to switch to straps? I do weighted pullup bar hangs which has helped my grip strength but I'm not sure if that carries over to heavy bent over rows
@@MrPirateBroadcast lmao I saw your comment and got happy for a sec. It would've been really cool to have a nerdy strongman (besides Martins) to look up to.
@@MrPirateBroadcast lol Yeah. Perfect wording. I can get my nerdy channels elsewhere; Brian's my wildman channel without being a full on outdoorsman channel.
Brian I love you man you’re awesome! Check out kneesovertoesguy on Instagram! The guy has no ligaments in either knees, he had a partial kneecap replacement, quad tendon repair, and jumpers knees. He has all this and can play high level basketball, has a 42” vertical etc. The guys literally helping me walk again my knees were fucked for years and profoundly atrophied. I’m about to hit 5 months of doing his stuff everyday and I’m starting to walk properly and I’m standing up straight and not looking like Quasimodo lol. Message him and ask about reversing out knee pain and tibialis raises & calf stretching. And then make these things a regular part of your life. 🤟👌 peace man all the best ✌️❤️
Stop pressing overhead...the shoulder is not built for this mouvement....heavy dlifts, squats and ohp will make you older faster. Please read or watch doug brignole. He is a bodybuilder but will educate you on how to train past 40. I too am strong (230 lbs ...500lbs bench 650 squat and 700 deadlift natural)...but i am almost never injured...why train smart
overhead pressing is fine depending on your shoulder anatomy. some people cannot press overhead safely just like some people can't squat deep safely, but I'd say most people can
This man has suffered só many health problems, yet he keeps pushing forward. You are an *inspiration*
Do start a TRAIN series like Elliot Hulse used to do earlier back in the day. I would love to watch that kind of fun and chaotic training videos
After listening to your medical history and ongoing issues, I shall never ever again complain if I'm sidelined for a week or so. You've come back more than I've been out. Glad to see you kicking
Stay strong! Take care brother!!
Finally! The next episode of my favorite anime! 🍻

I hope they lose a toe!
I hope they step on a Lego
the 4 people now
TRAIN VIDEOS ARE THE BEST! I love these videos. Please make them more frequently. Please
That’s bad dude right there. Been watching this channel for a couple years now and I’m so glad you’re back. Stay strong brother.
Never feel bad about promoting your own products or yourself. You're not selling garbage, it's fine work.
I had acute Lyme symptoms, took antibiotics for 3 weeks and have been fine ever since.
I once had 11 tick bites after going for a hike. Doc told me im competely fine, but i felt absolutely disgusting on and off for a month. Like half of the week i felt disgusting while i felt somewhag decent the other 3 days lol
Did my first day of the body weight programme today. Never done a bear walk before and they humbled me. Also RIP my wrists.
I can definitely vouch for his bodyweight program. Many times I found myself muttering profanities at whoever wrote it (don't take it personally Brian) 😂. Am on 2nd iteration of his strength program now and have been steadily making gains.
If anyone is thinking of getting the bodyweight program, I got it the first time around and it kicked my ass. Absolutely amazing and highly recommend!
Who knew lunges could be so hard?
@@richardsamuel3252 and who decided to put Hindu squats directly afterwards?!
Brian is a beast. Mind, body and soul. Such a well rounded human

I faced a similar reality

Hey Brian,
Can you make a video about:

Even with all those injuries, you still keep pushing man, if that does not inspire i dont know what will, take care man!

You are an INSPIRATION for me Brian!🙏🏻
Good luck with your healing!
2:43 Getting mired my man.
Ha! That is a good catch, she was mirin hard!
I think that’s Alena
Love to see you still going strong despite health complications. A true inspiration. P.S. I hear Hillsong, love it! You guys are amazing!

Sorry about the new Lyme stuff :/

Brian, you are the light in darkness!! You rule dude!
.looking good man!! Awesome strength!
LOL ur wife's reaction @ 2:42...how can she still be surprised u move heavy weight?!? lol
Weird, Alan Thrall did a video today that explains the continental clean just like Brian does here. Great minds!
Glad to see you back at it
I will join you my good red sir💪
Interesting. Alan Thrall and Brian Alsruhe talking about Continental clean at the same day.
Thank you for your advice..👍👍👍
Love ya, Brian 👊🤙👍
Awesome video, very motivating!
Always inspiring brother! You’re a legend mate
Great stuff man!
You and Alan Thrall both covered Continental Clean in latest vids. You guys got ESPN or something..
Just went from watching Brian Shaw to Watching this Brian... I guess I'm keeping up with the Brians instead of the Joneses now 😂.
did the same
Enjoyed the video once again!
limes disease is nasty this guy is an inspiration to sufferers true athlete

If your deads or squats suck... triceps!
Ticks....hate those blood sucking spiders
Who do you see as your lyme specialist?
Hey Brian, I hope you got some antibiotics or went for a hospital check because of Lymes disease.
So, does RUclips even have DMs still? If so where? I can't seem to find it
love you dude
hope you get well soon. how long did that workout take and how long is your average training session
An hour is as long as I ever work out dude

keep up the videos
What's happened with your own gym Brian?

Also, do you think push presses help with strict presses maybe because of the heavier eccentric overload translating to strict pressing?
4:30 this is zen

It’s very discouraging that I finally found a powerlifting gym kind of close to me and the ole corona is gonna stop me from joining 😑
Brian isn't there any repellent you can wear?
Have you tried any of the wim hof stuff? He talks about life disease.
Bro that sucks. Have you tried Hydroxychloroquine for treatment? I've heard good things in trials.
Oh I see you repping those punisher shorts Brian. Mayhaps we have a comic fan in hiding?
Those aren’t punisher shorts dude. They are from the fight company called Phalanx. It’s not related at all. They are jujitsu shorts

Where are the DMs on RUclips?
Do you mean you'll answer the comment or...
Yeah, if I remember right YT disabled them a year ago. The only contact option is the user having the business inquiry email enabled.
