Portland has been destroyed. We have all left to more American States. Appalachia is home now and we love it! People are like they used to be in the PNW, everyone waves when passing, talks in the grocery line, smiles and loves the outdoors. ❤ Hopefully the PNW will find her way back.

I think that Skydio drone is a great device for someone as active as you are in your videos. I first saw it in use about 3-4 years ago on a guys channel (Ridefreak) who rides (aggressively) a KTM dirt bike in New Mexico and I couldn’t believe how that drone could stay with him.
Can’t wait to see it following you on the sled and board in the snow.

#1: Camping videos actually showing us your utilizing it, I find to be the most entertaining. Showing how live, cook, eat, avoid the rain=rad. I don't personally need the long travel road shots etc... Just me maybe.
#2 Filet Minion is probably the most over rated over priced steak...ever. Use to work in a restaurant and eat them for half price. Now in my "experience" and "maturity", RIB EYE is life. Delmonico or Tomahawks are amazing. I will say Tomahawk are premium price unfortunately just for a fancy cut. However, they do tend to be a thicker cut. Straight bone in rib eye...heaven and way more reasonably priced than Filets. Plus that outer ridge of fat, render that down and its butter man! Dang, now I want me a rib eye. Anyway, rad camping vid. Do more, cook more!

The pacific north west is very beautiful. I spent 12 years in Portland but I had to flee. Just could not handle the crazy any more.

The Olympic Peninsula is one of my favorite places on the planet. Lake Quinault is a beautiful place and if you pass through that way again you should check out Lake Quinault Lodge.

I agree with you about alone time. I don't consider myself a loner but I'm very comfortable being alone.
I did two one year backpacking trips in my 20s - Europe and Australia - and I went by myself, although I hooked up with many people along the way.
Had a lot of Kiwi in New Zealand and also hit Fiji on the way back, so we've crunched some of the same trails.

Hey dude, always love the content! Just wanted to pass along that the Oregon coast isn’t quite the Olympic Peninsula. Was confused for a minute but I can see how it might seem like the peninsula. The weather and landscape is somewhat similar. The Tillamook forest is quite a bit south from the Olympic Peninsula. Still a very beautiful area. I lived in that part of Oregon for a long time and love reminiscing about old adventures out on the coast. Anywho.. I really appreciate your videos! Thank you!!

I camped in the Tillamook forest in a van I made into a sleeping area. The water was so clean and the forest was amazing..
You were near my stomping grounds! We lived in Portland 75, 76 and sold it and got out!

Timmy man have you considered a newer super duty mirror,heated,running lamp and turn indicator. Plus far larger field of view I have western mirrors on my 96 f350 7.3 but if I had the style of mirrors you do I’d make the swap for sure Would match the cabin body line well I think ps. Sick drone last one was bogus much needed improvement
I'm new to this channel, this episodes pretty funny. I was expecting the 3 bears 🐻 to be on his porch with the filet mignons cooking in the deep woods lol. The song your friend made was nice. I once decided some time back for Turkey Day a road trip would be nice. I wanted to see the great plains so we went to Palo Duro Canyon & ate at a Braums lol the only resteraunt in town out in the middle of no where. I got the best pictures on that trip 😊.

Dude! Your gonna love the Skydio!!!! It takes a few flights to put your trust in its ability to avoid stuff but they are pretty unbelievable!!!! Just avoid power lines, windows (it thinks that they are an opening. I learned the hard way.) and bare branches less than a couple inches in diameter.
Spent $2k and it flew away and never came back 3rd time I used it, lost $550 paying for a replacement even though it wasn't my fault, then returned the entire thing, super pissed lol

@@TruckHouseLife I can’t believe Skydio woundn’t do you better than that. Dud you give them the flight logs? Usually they save to your phone through the app.
@@adventuresaimless Yup, sent them the flight logs, was denied and made me pay the $550 lost drone replacement fee (said it was user error, even though the drone was in follow mode, deverted and said it was flying to the home point, then never returned home. I bought the $2,000 pro kit too:(. Paid the $550 replacement drone fee, they sent me a new drone, then I sent it all back to be returned so lost $550 and only flew it 3 times. Maybe bad luck, but total bs and I feel screwed over pretty bad.

Tim, should have bought the tamron 50-400 for the sony, I use tamron lens on both my canon and sony equipment, the quality is the same.
