Micah Richards always supported Arsenal. He loves Arsenal.but his comments are not biased, he is a very honest man.
The EPL has hated Arsenal since Wenger (a Frenchman), revolutionised the English game. He made a fool of all Brits, including Ferguson by spending much less investing in the French league and dominating the EPL. He set the bar much higher with focal changes to player diets, eating habits, lifestyles, sports science, recruitment, training methods, sports psychology etc. This stigma by the patriarchs will forever be with Arsenal, a club once called The Royal Arsenal, paying tribute to the Monarchy. They can't allow or accept a Frenchman make mockery of national pride.

2. You can't take a free kick while the ball is in motion.
3. You can't kick a player like that.
In addition, the Brighton player actually kicked the ball at Rice. So technically the ball was in play.

Rules tend to be applied when it's Arsenal. That is the part I can't seem to get. Not sure if this relays to the fact that referees are inconsistent or there is an agenda with Arsenal. But no matter how you look at it, rival fans Especially Liverpool fans were having a field day at Arsenal when it actual facts all the fans need to come together and fight this inconsistency as this could easily happen to your team apart from Spurs, Man City and Newcastle
Funny how it took a foreign ref to use common sense in the CL v Bayern game involving Gabriel in the box. If that was a domestic game with a domestic ref it would have been a completely different outcome.

I just had some food for thoughts for that biased game between Arsenal and Brighton
1) Players don't put the ball in free kick position by kicking it. Veltzman did so is that even legit?
2) Are you allowed to take a free kick with rolling ball?
3) Joao Pedro kicked the ball 40 yrds away and did not get yellow. Can someone explain?
4) Hinslewood pulled back Saka + hits him in the face twice(He did not get booked even once). Is that a red?
5) Ben White's shot was going in and Dunk's arm stopped a certain goal. Can someone explain why is that not a penalty?

Me too, the league is a scam, no matter how good you are, Epl would always find a way to win it for city, why is it that city in champions league always become so toothless when they face teams like Madrid, Bayern etc. But in Epl they become the untouchable and win the league, yet they can't replicate that in the champions league, when barca were arguably the best team, we could see their dominance replicated in the champions league, same with Madrid, but city have not been able to do that even when they have been called the best team, that is because the system in England is a cheat, the same thing happened during the Ferguson era, man it's were untouchable, refs favoured them a lot, for me Epl is just a big whole scam. That's why Henry never won a ballon d'Or, even with is invisible record and top scorer in the league on different occasions, they would still not give him instead a Pavel nedved won ahead of him. I won't be surprised if haaland doesn't win the ballon d'Or, because none of the people in charge do not take EPL serious anymore, very soon good players and coach would not take the league serious anymore, this is one of the reasons why I think klopp left. No Matter how good your team is little errors like this can cost you the league. And the painful thing is that they are always ready to defend this nonsense.

This issue is being picked up at the advance level. Brighton player kicked the ball (he did not put the ball to his desired restart spot by hands) and hit Rice's heel, meaning he has already restarted the play, so the issue that we should be looking into is whether Rice was 10 yards away or not.
It's true as Arsenal fc, and fans we are really suffering to an extent some fans are taking their own life as a result of hatred from referees, fellow clubs and their fans as a result we are tortured psychology. At the end it pains and pains alot really. All I can say is we recognize hatred towards the club from referrees, clubs and their fans but we continue to believe football is one that can bring peace.
I have supported this club since 1990 and the hate has always been there, the class alone of Arsenal fc really gets on peoples nerves 😁, it is even worse when Arsenal are doing well and not being "bottlers" like most other fans want 🤪 they just cannot handle the fact we have a great team again and they are competing for the biggest trophy's, they will prove everyone wrong if not this year definitely in the next few years 💪🏻

English refs are the worst in the history of the game. This is why England may never win any major trophy for years to come. The refs consistently dictate the outcome of matches and reason why English players will never know their true worth but leaving with the assumption that they are good players

Why are all the refs not commenting about that the ball was moving or the new rule says its ok to restart while the ball is in motion.
It's obvious and true that referees and many people just hate Arsenal for no just cause. Why is it that in most cases, all these controversies are always against Arsenal, but if it were other clubs, you begin to hear favorable analysis in favor of the clubs but not Arsenal. This is the reason I don't even bother to listen to so many so-called pundits.
I can see how Micha Richards always try to comment on true bases which makes him fit to the position to comment on. But most of the people, especially this referee who usually comment after such incidents are missionaries who stand for some purpose, not for the rule or the truth... the way how they narrate and explain things is disgusting!

Party got a yellow card for a shirt pull against Brighton but in the first half a Brighton player pulled Saka’s shirt on the edge of the box no card they say letter of the law that’s why Rice got 2nd yellow but last seson when we played Man City at home and the city player fouled Martin O twice when they revised it on ref watch they said the ref used common sense and just warned the Man City player later no more he didn’t want to send him off and spoil the game where is tge letter of the law there and Warnock is so biased against Arsenal
The Hatred on Arsenal is a generational thing, Believe it is not just the Premier League, even in the Champions League so many times and for so many years. But for the premier league organizers to not sanction this shitty referee I believe they are in on the let them lose points to make the league tough and sweet, if not Arsenal would have kept on winning till the final day of the league.

You can't achieve those points by dropping points at home to a midtable team like Brighton. There is no excuse for not winning Brighton at Emirates at the start of the season. Are you stupid? Arsenal were ahead by a goal and were controlling the game, UNTIL the ref showed Rice the red card. After that, it was Brighton pressure and they equalized. Fortunately Arsenal withstood the pressure to end the game 1-1. How were Arsenal supposed to win the match if the ref made sure that wouldn't happen?

I disagree with you. The call in the Lutron/Swansea game was wrong. It should was been a yellow for kicking the ball away, the same call that was given to Rice. You say the referee was being petty, IMO Rice unnecessarily touching the ball was being petty. There was no need for his actions. If this happened to Ipswich no one would give a hoot, but because it’s Arsenal, it’s a travesty!

You're the one missing the point. Dermot was analysing that incident and didn't comment on whether the Swansea player deserved a yellow or why he didn't get one...nobody even cared about his actions. The issue here is consistency in application of these rules. When a rule is applied on certain players and not others, it brings up the criticism that there is bias in decision making.
We arsenal fans are not arguing that rice doesn't deserve the second yellow card, what we are against is the double standard in the game, the unfairness of it all, if one player is getting the yellow for same thing and another is not getting any at for same thing in the same match, then your years of refereeing in Canada is all bullsh*t, even the guy at the sky port studio, doesn't even know his left from right, one time saying yes and the other saying no, if this is the kind of refereeing you subscribed to at Canada then you have done a hell of a horrible job.
