Jesus, Trossard, Martinelli are not world beaters imo. GM has the potential to become one but he needs a elite midfielder behind him who can thread balls between the lines and he just doesn’t have that. Even in defence, Tomiyasu, Zinchenko, Kiwior, these guys ain’t world beaters and let’s not talk about the guys on loan… We gotta be stacked with TOP TIER players from top to bottom and world class potential in the academy to really compete and our squad is not full of that. I don’t care about how much was spent, a lot of them aren’t great and wouldn’t get onto the bench of all the major teams in front of us, let’s be completely honest. If Arteta had a squad stacked with quality and is performing like this then I’ll understand but we’re not buying our main targets and getting plan b’s and c’s instead and we have the nerve to put this guy under pressure… Its insane to me. He’s outperforming if you ask me. This squad as we speak is on the same level quality wise and the Spurs team that got to the CL final with Potch or the nearly Liverpool team that Rodgers had. We need more than a striker. We need a very creative center mid, a fast, powerful and clinical winger,and another Attacking midfielder. To me all our wingers except Saka are Average and our midfield is very poor in ball carrying and creativity.

Even with the current options we should be doing better. It’s not like we’re missing loads of chances, we aren’t creating any System around our forwards has to be better or the striker will only have crosses to try and win

You need to move the ball forward freely and create enough chances before you can talk about a striker. City was creating so many chances in and out of the box before they got Haaland. All they lacked was the finisher. So they took off once they got him. We're struggling to move the ball past the midfield and our striker constantly had to return to the midfield to receive the ball. Our biggest concern isn't the finish right now, it's everything before that.
