As disappointed as I was with thr window (the fact we didn't really maximise it, should have brought in a striker) I do think what we have, when fit, is deffo up there with the best squads. I'm still hoping that the next two windows though, we finally go for that final two pieces of the jigsaw, a striker and saka competition

No offence? Those 'nobodies' who made up our bench and our squad are now replaced by youngsters that our rivals will never have heard of. It's a hard job finding quality players who are happy to sit on the bench or not even make the bench, unless you can find high wages to pay them.
@@MrKeefy1967 The nobodies never got us any money. No one wanted to buy our players they were that useless. Only major sale we had during that time was Iwobi. After that we only had Ox to sell for 35 m. We haven’t sold any player above 40 mil yet. But the frequency of selling around 35 m is improving because of Mikel’s recruiting and tactics. Now opponents want our players instead of scoffing at our demands.

We only sell when the player is not good enough or (eg Smith Rowe, Nelson) they want 1st team football which we can't offer. Those sort of players are not going to sell for more than £40m. Thank God we don't have any sales above £40m because if we did it would mean we are losing our better players. Transfer fees have gone through the roof in the last few years. The likes of Anelka, Fabregas, Overmars, Henry, Van Persie and Alexis Sanchez would go for a lot more than £40m these days but none of those sold for much more than £30m.
Those squad players are/were not useless. There's a difference between useless and not good enough for Arsenal. A lot of money has been spent recently on improving the team and squad. That money wasn't available to Wenger for a long while after we built the new stadium.

@@carter3369 we were one hueng min son missed 1v1 away from winning the title with havertz playing as striker for our better half of the season when we were scoring for fun, if we had him as striker from day one we probably would have won the league. so that statement is pretty stupid to make tbh
I like havertz as our CF but I know how good gyokeres is at the moment ...Its a blow knowing we could and should have signed him in the past transfer window ...but don't ever say we won't win the league with havertz that's just a weird and mad thing to say while he has been contributing a lot to our past games🤷♂️⚽ so I'm satisfied with him at the moment it's other players that is not performing as that should and few injured players that's missing

Looking good. I reckon Calfiori Sterling and Jesus starts this game. Rest Timber Saka and Havertz. All 3 were dead on their feet at the end of that game. Saka didn't even finish the game from cramps. Can't risk a muscle injury..
Good points but I disagree with the Saka, thing he’s an elite player who’s fitness levels are far far beyond anything you, me, ex pundits and most of the non playing sports people who post crap online. I knew a couple of players like this back in the day who didn’t even train properly but they would always get 8/10 min every match and played every single match.
Partey should also be rested for Rice.
