In this video I am going to show you how to properly install a double din radio in a WS6 Trans Am Firebird. This process is similar in a 98-02 Camaro as well but requires a different trim panel. It is a pretty easy install with the right parts. I am picky about installation of radios. I solder all the connections and tape up nicely. Another thing I want to make sure of is that we don't lose any features. I wanted to keep the factory steering wheel controls the firebird has. In order to keep the steering wheel controls it does require an extra harness which I show you how to hook up. Keeping the steering wheel controls are a must when I install a radio. I will say that the double din radio fits nice in the factory din and a half location. If you have a firebrid, trans am or camaro this is a must watch how to on installing a double din radio.
