My wife bought me for Christmas I been doing paint jobs by roller I kept complaining I needed a sprayer she bought me one haven't used it yet so thank you much I can't wait to use mines
Oh my God. I am watching your videos because of your beer rating system. I’ve had a few beers at this moment, so I will follow a up tomorrow with a review content. Right now, I’m laughing my ass off. It even past set up.
Thank you but unfortunately I have abandoned this measuring system to make my channel mor family friendly. I have thought about doing it down in the description but have not done it yet.
This was a very helpful video, getting ready to purchase a paint sprayer, this video showed me alot about this unit, I will be purchasing the wagner 4000, have watched alot of videos on wagner products, I believe this unit appears to be worth the little extra money I may have to pay. Great video
Just bought one of these today. I'm looking forward to trying it out. It was worth the extra $30 to go from 3000 to 4000 to put the power unit on the floor instead of in the hand, I believe. Thanks for the video!
This was my question to Darren as well... probably should have read through all the comments first. I'm thinking exactly what you are... put the unit on the floor and with the length of hose they supply looks like it will be much easier.
@chris the only problem with the unit on the floor that I have found is stepping on the hose. It is not a big downfall but it did affect my spraying for a few seconds.
Great may I suggest a paint? I used sherwin-Williams emerald paint. I used the trim paint because it has urethane and actually gets hard. I use it for all my trim and cabinets. You can scrub it with a sponge and it just comes right off and no damage to the paint.
@@dmurphy68 Thank you! I just bought this same paint sprayer and the Emerald Urethane paint from SW also! I was so close to buying the KEM Aqua Plus paint by SW because people say it’s amazing and levels/dries much faster than the Emerald. However, I opted for the Emerald in the end because I also read the KEM Aqua may chip. So I hope I made the right choice! I’ve read so many people say it’s super durable!
I have multiple rooms, ceiling and walls to spray, so a lot of area. I have RA and have a hard time holding things in my hands. That is why I was looking at this model because of the weight of it. I’m also 66 so I need to make this as easy as I can. Our house is over 3000 sq ft and I will be doing all the ceilings, walls and closets so I feel the $199 will be worth it for me, but I don’t want to go to a larger model since I do have time to spread this painting out. It doesn’t need to be done at once. Thank you for this review, it helped a lot.
Thank you thank you thank you for an excellent video. I do have one question did you do your ballisters with the smaller sprayer or the larger? I am worried about overspray. I am also using a water-based stain which I’m going thin with water. My plan is to do all of my balusters first from both sides, then do the floor. I’m assuming you were able to get to at all four sides of the baluster from spring sort of at an angle room inside the deck than outside. I am buying this unit just to save time as I have more than 110 feet of railing around three different decks And to do it by hand with a brush is very time consuming.
I used the smaller sprayer at first but I ended up using the bigger one to save time. The only place I worried about over spray was close to the house. I did manage to get a little on my windows just because of the breeze we had that day. Take your time and cover anything you don’t want sprayed.
Again, thanks for the excellent video. I finished my deck the other day. I actually used the small detail sprayer to do all of the wooden balusters of which I have 110 feet of railing so it was many times filling up that small bucket. But I needed a very narrow spray pattern I then switched to the larger spray head to do the flooring section. For some reason I was not as happy with that larger head the paint kept clumping even with the air all the way up and the material flow fairly low. I never did try to thin the stain which I probably should have as it was a solid color stain, so it was very much like paint, I found that if the larger bucket was not screwed onto the gun very tightly, the paint would ooze out of the gun, even after you stopped pulling the trigger and the switch was shut off. I bought the flexio 5000 model by the way, which is just a big plastic box that sits on the floor with the power and a 16 foot hose up to the gun. But in the end this thing was definitely worth the $220. I spent on it as it decreased the labor time by at least 10 fold
Great job on the video and appreciate the commentary. I'm torn between the Flexio 3000 and 4000. Did you look into the 3000 at all? What made you go with the 4000? Attachments are the same but the 4000 looks like it may be a little easier to manage since you are really just attaching a hose to the attachment and not the entire unit.
I have had a couple of the all in one units. I found them difficult to clean and I always will clog up if you did not have them perfect. Some of the reviews I saw said how easy it was to clean so that was one of the selling points for me. I did not look at the 3000 at all but at the 4000 price point it was worth it to try out.
If you empty the paint out of the container, then you can fill it with hot water from the tap and spray through until water comes through clear easy way to clean after use. Also good Todo what you did after just to make sure it's all cleaned out
No problem at all mate I watched your review some time back and recently purchased one can't fault it. Literally took me less than 5 minutes to clean with a warm damp clot for the over spray on gun ect and running hot water through the tank until clear, always best to take nozzles off ect like you demonstrate 👊
Awesome video! I’m looking for a paint sprayer to help me redo a bathroom (walls & cabinets), & since I’m new to this, I’ve been watching lots of videos. Your review seems authentic, & I really appreciate that. Thanks!!
Just got the 5000 today can’t wait to try it out. 1st thing is to paint my boys room since i just finished making them some bunk beds and all that’s left is a good paint job. 🤞🏽
Really the one you have is better only difference is the storage. That is the only reason I got it, but yours has a 15’ hose mine only has a 11.5’. But I works great I was really surprised since some people have had a bad experience with theirs. 👍🏽
I did not see any orange peel in my stain it laid down nice like using a brush or roller. I am going to paint my bathroom soon and I will thin my paint by 5% to see if it changes the spray

We bought this to use on a house we were renovating. It was great for painting doors and a brick fireplace, however trying to use it for cabinets was a complete disaster. The biggest flaw is it being an air model. The constant stream of air does a number on any plastic you have up, you have to make sure it's completely secure or your whole work area turns into a mess. Then I had so many issues with the tips clogging and putting blobs of paint all over everything I resorted to just brushing all my cabinets and their doors. If you have a project that can be done outside, where the overspray doesn't matter, it's great.. personally I'm going to pick up an airless system the next time I need to do any precise paint work.
I feel many of these are user error you can’t just dump paint from the can to the gun’ sure the box says that but good luck’ If you don’t strain it 1st 1 little chunk ruins it all’ it will clog spit You MUST thin paint’ again it says you don’t that’s for marketing sure you don’t have to but you won’t like the outcome they don’t tell you that
Anyone know what size the smaller tip is? Not a clue online or in the enclosed paperwork. I had to buy it because Lowe's knows nothing, and even inside the package.....not a peep
I was going to but it had enough power to push this thick non transparent stain through the sprayer. I will test it again when I paint my basement and I will thin it.
Total POS. It doesn't spray, it splatters and it leaves a textured surface, even when the paint is thinned. It really shoots out blobs if you use un-thinned paint, which it is advertised to do be able to do.

Hope you enjoy it!

I have found it works better for stains than thick paint. If you do not clean it out good it will start to splatter from what I have found.
With the music and some of your paint moves I really felt like this could be a rap video. Appreciate your video. Used mine today and you video helped
Thank you… Rap video lol I see what you are saying
Turned out great! Having the sprayer separate is way better than the all in one I have used.
I enjoyed using it. I have used it more since I made this video and I found myself stepping on the hose in a smaller room.
Just got a flexio 4300. Painting an exterior storage unit. This helped a lot. Thanks.
