If it beads up but eventually soaks in after 15-20 minutes, is that sealed? It makes the grout change color. We followed the process 5x for sealing

Hey Em,
Grout can decay over time. Sealing it will help prevent it from cracking and peeling off, but it's something you need to do every 6 months or so. In your case you'd likely benefit from removing it, replacing it and then keep up on a sealing regiment to avoid the peeling again. Wait. You're supposed to seal a counter top? I've never done this. Never heard of it. What is the purpose for this?

Sealing will help preserve the look of your grout longer. Oil and other food debris can cause the grout to discolor over time. Hope this helps!
