- Federal Conservative Party Leader Pierre Poilievre was in Vancouver on Monday, where he claimed that Prime Minister Justin Trudeau has “launched an outright crusade against pizza ovens,” as the Liberal government considers requiring certain restaurants that use wood-fired ovens to report their air pollution emissions.

@benrutgers6329 the whole slippery slope saying is about as old as they come but it used to be called give an inch and they take a mile. It's almost as inevitable as death and taxes.
Just look at what's happened with the entire world if you don't think people should be mindful of things spiraling out of control.
But people don't care they read click bait headlines and pretend to be experts to feel good about themselves and vote for parties that have raised living costs like most have never seen in their lives.

I don't even really oppose the core ideas of the liberal government but they are insanely incompetent and the NDP has done nothing to keep them in check.
One last note, all this started with a small carbon tax, now by 2030 in BC they want to phase out natural gas appliances and quadruple the carbon tax on that natural gas.
They already want to tax woodfire pizza places and bagel joints more because "Pollution".... I hate this government so much.
