You'll notice economists from various " Universities " never explain what caused the inflation in Canada .
    .
EDITED : If a government puts fiat money into circulation , at a faster rate of economic growth , then inflation hits 12 to 24 months later .
Beginning in Jan 2020 , the BoC printed $600 Billion over 3 years to pay for the Liberals deficit budgets . Because Trudeau , Freeland and Sabia put this printed money into circulation , inflation started hitting 18 months later .
Suggest looking at graph of Canada's M2 money supply .
The M2 money supply increased from $1.8 trillion to $2.4 trillion in 3 years .
    .
Different Central Banks printed different percentages of money , hence the reason why inflation occurred at different rates in other countries .

Our current rate is within the average, pre pandemic rates.. It the Conservative capitalist corporations, that are gouging Canadians, Poilievre has no problem with his buddy Galen Weston, causing food affordability issues for Canadians. What about what has been happening in BC with the old growth forests and the company company cutting down all those trees to provide wood pellets to England to burn for their hydro? Old growth forests. Thats not dead trees. They are still very much alive. England needs to find a better way to produce hydro instead of cutting down OUR trees to do so
