this is incredible! really interesting to see the old HUD in motion, tank controls, and how certain things remained in the PS1 (lums and cages) and 3DS (how respawning works) versions.
When Rayman stops running he does an animation that is also seen in the final version as leftover in the Woods of Light after the conversation with the baby globoxes. It's pretty annoying by the way to see him doing that all the time, glad they changed it.

Shooting with fists feels obsolete in comparsion to power balls in this beta build. I think that maybe in earlier builds power balls will be unlocked later in the game. Probably only usable thing is potential hit, when it returns to Rayman.
the magic fist was a power up for the telescopic fist??? Im geeking out so hard, i wish that was in the final game! Or that we got a telescopic fist mod for the final game someday. This rules
I just noticed, there doesn't appear to be any Green Lums here, but you do respawn in set points when you drown, do they set checkpoints invisibly in this build?
@@redbird_studios is this broken? I first tried running this natively, with and without the DLLs, with nglide and dxvoodoo, but as I was having no luck with that, I tried running it under Windws 98 in PCem but clicking on either level just immediately crashes with Illegal Instruction!
@ZonyaZeraora there's a newer patch that also makes it run on modern windows, I'll try to link to it later today. If I forget just reply to me again so I get a notification!

The controls here aren't tank controls, even though they do look like it! I'm trying to find out if we can reactivate the tank controls.

The DS version of Raving Rabbids also had the punch and the spheres, though the latter had ammo. Maybe they were going to have that too?
