I've found this video by chance and I must say your content is really great. No BS, no dumb thumbnail like other youtubers. Your videos are very interesting and your painting advices are great. It is a great pleasure to watch you. You've got a new sub
Thank you! It really means a lot to me when I get comments like this. It is difficult to gauge how good/useful my videos really are, and reading something like this reassures me a bit that some people enjoy watching them, and it is worth doing them 😊
Great paintjob. That was very brave panel-lining with acrylic instead of an enamel-wash. Never thought of using airbrush thinner for that either, very interesting.
Thanks 😊 It is not exactly thinner, though. It is flow improver, and it makes the acrylic paint behave a little bit like enamel or oil washes. It doesn't flow that well, but well enough.
Big stompy mechs are hard to resist indeed :D And I still have quite a few of them unpainted, I just need to find the time :D Glad to hear you liked this one!
I LOVE the look of this model and want to try it out. It looks so well done and the thoroughness of the video gives me the confidence to give it a try.
Recent subscriber, so im really joying going through your previous videos. I very much appreciate the syle of your videos being easy to watch and straightforward to follow. You done a magnificent job on this mini.
There will definitely be some more tau in the future, but probably not in the next couple of weeks, since I am working on some other projects :) Which models or color schemes would you be interested in seeing?
Thanks 😊 Unless I am mistaken, I showed most if not all paints I used in the video. For the zenithal, I primed the model black and then sprayed Vallejo White over that from a zenithal angle. ( any black primer or white paint should work though)

Already commented on how much I love this style, but any chance you would post more tau painting videos as you paint your army?

@@ph3lansminiatures Vior'la Tau on a rocky moonscape with your own spin on it? 😁
Beautifully painted! Can I ask which paints you used? Also you said you started from a Zenithal prime, can you explain which colors you used for that?
Thanks 😊 Unless I am mistaken, I showed most if not all paints I used in the video. For the zenithal, I primed the model black and then sprayed Vallejo White over that from a zenithal angle. ( any black primer or white paint should work though)
