My work vehicle is a '22 Durango AWD with just the base V6 engine (PentaStar?). Dude, it'll scoot! And it hugs the road like a friggin' slot car!

@@SunsetValleyRanchI was just about to ask if anyone had knowledge of just how fast the V6 Durango is and then I saw your post. With awd I would imagine there is basically no wheel spin and all get up and go! Imagine that same V6 with a supercharger or turbo as long as the internals of the engine could handle it. I'm sure it would be that much more of a thrill to drive.

The judge felt the kid wasn't competent enough to stand trial. He was then placed on house arrest with an ankle bracelet.
This was the kids payback for his mother taking away his Playstation.

A year ago my wife was struck by an unlicensed drunk & stoned teenager driving his mother's SUV, with permission. Rolled & totaled two vehicles, but everyone walked away. Wife is still treating for back injury though. Court has given him a mild slap on the wrist even though he is failing UA's. Watch out for these kids when they become legal age, no way they will become beneficial members of society without aggressive corrective action now.

My friend’s younger sister was riding her bicycle home from her university’s library and was struck from behind by a guy who was 3x over the limit and high. He continued on and hit a bunch of parked cars in his complex parking lot and somehow found his way back to his apartment which is where the cops caught up to him. The younger sister sustained traumatic brain injuries and was taken off life support a couple days later when no signs of life was found. The drunk’s daddy was a lawyer from out of state and he was only handed 7 years behind bars. He got out and was eventually sent back to prison for trafficking drugs. 7 years and he killed a young woman and took off from the scene of the accident. Completely heartless. But through all of this, she was able to donate some of her organs to some sick people in need and a clinic in Africa was set up in her name. She was studying to be a nurse when she was killed.

There’s no such thing as a Durango SE anymore. They stopped that trim level in like 2010. That’s a 2011-2013 body style

He needs locked up until he is 18 and possibly then transferred to the pin for several years for repeatedly doing this.

The kid (at 11) is already a better (at least faster) driver than the police. The police drove like old men, They may need some high speed driving courses, or maybe their cars were slow POS.

The problem is, Troopers have rules to follow. Kid's taking huge risks. Parents need to take better care with the family truckster keys.

I mean..... the kid would have been in the house on his playstation instead of getting into trouble but nooooo........ videogames help keep kids out of trouble as it keeps their minds occupied. Taking away a cellphone would have been more effective as cellphones are tools for disaster in the hands of children in many different ways.

His mom should press charges against him so she can turn it in to ins. as stolen, put him in children's center and not allow him to get a license until he's 18.
