The did a very refined smoothing of the right angles all over the car. The results are profound but subtle. The car accepts light and color much more smoothly. It's much more accepting of muted, pastel, non-primary colors. They absolutely nailed it. Bravo RR.
It would have been good to see practicality. I love the part where you test back seats, child seats and get your wife's opinion on the cars - it's so useful!
I prefer the series 2. I like those new headlights it makes the car look more fancy and more expensive in my opinion. Also, the new technology is a good improvement versus the old one. Makes it look also more like 2025
Really surprised the theater tv screen from 7 series hadn’t made it to any RRs just yet. If I paid 1/2 mil for my roller, I’d probably expect it. Even more so with the 2 rear seat configuration, The tiny screens in the back are very average 😉
I think RR slow releases the tech to ensure that “effortlessness” experience. The theatre screen may require one too many steps for the average RR customer 😆
Here in the UK it seems Rolls-Royce are driven by the wrong people. They have no class and usually people who want to show off. Bentleys and Range Rovers still maintain that classy look.
I never understood why Cullinan doesn't offer reclining back seats with calf support. If you're chauffered around, Maybach is more comfortable, luxurious and half the price.
It's funny because it isn't a traditional sporty model. It doesn't ride any firmer and the extra power is a small bump. I think it's just for added rarity/distinction
Oh BTW, in MKBHD's video of the Mega 1 MPV, he said the magic carpet suspension is better than a Rolls Royce Spectre, not sure if you'd review the mega but I found it interesting how a Chinese MPV EV had a better ride quality than a 600K Rolls Royce
I know Rolls-Royce is the pinnacle of luxury but sometimes i feel like other automakers make that luxury more exciting like mercedes with their Maybach line with all the ambient lighting compared to RR just seems boring.
The point isn't for it to be exciting. This is why the main audience for Rolls Royce are wealthy old people who don't care about stuff like "ambient lighting". Rolls Royce has always been about straightforward luxury and nothing else. Ambient lighting doesn't help the car be more luxurious so why have it?
It's definitely not as vibrant as Maybach, but the traditional luxury (quiet, comfort, materials) are just unparalleled. I've tried all the competitors. Some come close, but nothing matches
😆 I think I've just heard so many horns that the differences do stand out to me. Some are really dinky (Toyota Supra, for example), some have a weird tone (Genesis), and some sound dainty like this Rolls
The lower front end should have been either body colored or chrome. Having three colors (body color, black, chrome) just seems so aesthetically unbalanced.

The worst thing RR have done is ruin the front with the slanted air vents which make it look like a smiley face drawn by a child. 2-10 RR ruined a spectacular vehicle.

Wrong on both counts. It was a great car. I didn't replace the engine, just had a faulty AC Compressor.
Only one garage spot and I'd filmed a ton of content with the Blackwing already. I got the Dodge Demon 170 to replace it, but I miss the BW a lot!
