good morning miles! contrary to popular belief, i actually kinda like the way it looks, and the cars you've been reviewing lately are getting more and more interesting
"contrary to popular belief..." Doesn't work for your thoughts and feelings. I think you meant "contrary to popular opinion". Ppl don't believe you do or don't like it because we don't know you.
Ferrari could have gone the easy way and use the V8 biturbo. But no, they went NA V12 and for that alone, the (massive) price premium over Urus is deserved . Each in their own way, Cullinan and Purosangue are in a class of their own. Urus, Bentayga, Cayenne Turbo GT and…RS Q8 are an echelon lower. Also, even here in Newport or Laguna, Purosangue is a rare sight and that’s a good thing. Thanks for reviewing!
@ exactly. I know V8 twin turbo makes more torque than V10 and that’s probably why Lamborghini went V8 for its heavy SUV. But still, to your point, Hurracan V10 would have been a lot more interesting and special
@@longbeachcarguy nah they most likely used the V8 and ZF 8-speed because it's cheaper and simpler to reuse drivetrains between all the VW performance SUVs. It's basically badge engineering excluding styling and tuning differences
The noise levels of the engine is pretty amazing. Just cruisin around in 8th gear it's very quiet and refined, but kick it down a few gears and suddenly it roars up like a ferrari. The engineers must've worked their magic on it.
This honestly is the most special super SUV. Lamborghini, Bentley, Porsche, and Audi are all sharing the same VW platform, engine, and transmission. Aston Martin is using an AMG engine. The only SUV that’s as bespoke would probably be the Rolls Royce Cullinan.
Miles reviewing a Purosangue the same way he reviews a Mazda is both hilarious and the reason I watch this incredible channel. Yes Miles, please show me how I would fit my $500K Ferrari in my 2 car driveway 😂😂😂
I love how you include the sound tests aswell, and the highway test in general. And just the whole video aha. Love your vids, you’re such a good reviewer and know your stuff and your driving skill is spot on.
I know everyone loves to comment that it looks like a Mazda CX-30 or whatever it is and I can see the similarity but after seeing one in person this car has a presence and stance that comes across in a way that pics don’t convey
The V12 is the best part of this one. Not sure about how I feel about a Ferrari UV, FUV, but at least it isn’t an EV. Oh, and it’s good that you don’t drink caffeinated coffee. You already move around like a toddler with a sugar high. 😂
immediate thumbs up haha! The V12 sound is like nothing else! Actually quite a nice looking car too! edit: I just noticed the cheap headliner!! C'mon Ferrari!! Where is the Alcantara or leather headliner!
The parcel shelves do actually fit under in the storage area to give you a full flat rear area. The vertical "shelf" goes upside down in the storage area so the specifications plaque will face you when you put the cover over.
Miles love your reviews. Would like your opinion on this. I’m getting rid of my M8 convertible and wanted to know your thoughts on either a DB12 volante or the vantage as my next daily. Thanks in advance
Day 11 of asking to review the M5 E39 What a video this was 😍 If you had to drive this SUV in the township areas of where I live, I don't think you'll be able to drive at all because the people would literally stand in front of your car, blocking the road which will make you not be able to drive 😂
This is a masterpiece of an SUV. This alongside the Urus are my favorite SUV. They compliment each other, the Urus has more space and probably comfort, but this has that special factor and THAT GLORIOUS NATURALLY ASPIRATED V12 ENGINE. So I love them both. Also, I think maybe not as many people turned around to look at the Purosangue because, SUVs are just not sexy body styles and they have become quite common, so, while this Purosangue is THE SEXIEST SUV out there, it is still an SUV so it doesn't cause the same impression as a sleek, mid engine super car for instance. Also, the idea that this looks a lot like a Mazda SUV doesn't help, it means people at the top of their minds confuse it for another Mazda and don't even bother to look twice :)
I have an Outback with the normal 2.5 boxer and I get the term “sluggish” for it, but I did not think I would hear you say “sluggish” at any time during a Ferrari review. Mom’s cool.😎❤️
18:00………….i think the “wow” factor at Costco came from the rear doors and how they open🤔…………even cheaper Kia’s and Hyundais make vehicles just about as flashy as the purasangua😳……..even though I love the way it looks and sounds! 🙌🏽😁
As a person borned in Maranello, is sooo sad seeing Ferrari bend at 90° and making an suv. I hope at least works like for Lamborghini, who did the Urus to finance the production of the real cars, which are the supercars.
@@MilesPerHr true, it is more of an impulse buy. If this car is shown at a yacht or jet event, this is more of impulse buy for those people as it affordable for them
It is a minimum of $500,00 and right now used at the$ 700,000. Which leads me to the question will you buy the Porsche Cayenne Turbo GT or the Purosangue which I can order? I had the DBX 707 and loved it!!! What do you think? I am into driving experience not space. Just to be high and feel like a sport car.
I’m owner of a Turbo GT and have the purosangue since yesterday for testing till tomorrow. I LOVE my GT. the V12 of the purosangue is a dream and there is nothing cooler then being able to daily drive a Ferrari and I also like the look of it. My GT felt little more comfortable for daily use and also the throttle responsiveness is more “directly” in the GT (I think because of the turbos). All in all is the GT the best Sport SUV u can get for money, but there’s nothing which can beat a natural aspirated v12 Ferrari and then even as a daily car.
@@miglo6492 Thank you! I did test the Puro and loved it, I just couldn't imagine paying almost twice for it than the DBX 707 which I just replaced for the new vantage. Thanks for your feedback.
idk man this car is cool and all but it's in an awkward spot i feel like, why would someone buy it when there is other options that are way more tailored to be a utility cars, especially when we consider that price, thats just my thinking i don't have that much knowledge about cars tho. either way it was a fun video to watch
Nope, Ferrari isn't targeting first time buyers with the Purosangue. For one they sold most of the allocations to their seasoned clients and also the production run is no where as much as say a Lamborghini Urus.
good morning miles! contrary to popular belief, i actually kinda like the way it looks, and the cars you've been reviewing lately are getting more and more interesting

Really enjoying your mother's perspective on these different vehicles. She needs her own channel.

The cargo divide does fit underneath. I believe you need to flip it over and arrange it in a specific way (the specs sheet should be facing up)

21:50 No 0-60 timer? I already miss the mmentary about the speed... (At least you put it in the description!)
