    *** Sorry I forgot to add! If you use hydrogen peroxide on your soil, use it in a ratio of 1:4 with water (4 parts of water + 1 part of hydrogen peroxide) and then spray your plant.
    Hello! In this video I will share what I have learned about moving plants indoors for winter. Hope it is helpful!

    ABOUT THIS VIDEO: MOVING HOUSEPLANTS INDOORS - How to move plants indoors for winter
    I'm so happy to publish this video as it has been requested many times and as the time comes when we will be moving plants from outdoors to indoors, I hope it is very helpful for you. Moving plants indoors is not really difficult. However, we have to make sure we follow some steps before moving houseplants indoors so we prevent any pests infestations and our plants are okay during winter. Before we begin moving plants from outside to inside we want to clean them thoroughly, and there are some ways to do this. My strategy before moving plants indoors for winter includes spraying them with high pressure water, the use of homemade insecticide, and checking the soil. After moving plants inside for winter, we want to make sure we quarantine them so we can check them over a week or two before bringing them closer to the other houseplants in our home. I hope you find this video very useful!

    non-diluted hydrogen peroxide? most reviews online show to dilute 3% H2O2 to 1:4.

      Ah! Thank you so much for this comment. I'm sorry I forgot to include this in the video. You are completely right, it would be 1:4 ratio with water. I have added this to the description and will pin your comment so others can see. Thanks again!

    Repotting works pretty well, but most soil dwelling pests only lay eggs in the top inch or less of soil. You can usually just remove that tiny bit to get rid of the majority of them. If you do a full repot though, ensure that you sanitize your pot as well. :)

    I brought my plants home from the balcony about a month ago. The only plants on the balcony now are lavenders and clematis. I will just cover these. :) Hope they'll survive in Berlin climate 🌿

    I wish I could have plant in my balcony, but it's full sun the whole day, it's hard to get any plant to adapt to that

    • @PlantsandLucia
      @PlantsandLucia  2 года назад +1

      Some plants will be happy with full sun :-) ! Maybe succulents or plants that come from the dessert, you can ask at your local plant nursery, they’ll know which ones are best :-)
