Many years ago I visited London and spent 3 whole days in utter hog heaven, wandering the halls of the British Museum, and still only saw a fraction of the things I wanted to. I wish I’d had the chance to go back but things didn’t work out that way, still I’m glad I got the chance to go even once.
Always enjoyed museums , I always ready archeology , books fascinating the culture and history of the places , dos not study the area but l am a Librarian, which has always allowed me to pass good history books wonderful Museum . Thanks for such a beautiful tour.😊💙💯💖👏👏👏
My family and I had a very informative tour presented by Rex of London Walks walking tours. The topic was evolution of art history, you might say, starting with the Rosetta Stone and the earliest Egyptian figures up through the Celtic England period with a tour through ancient Greece and the Elgin Marbles. It was really a fascinating tour. I learned so much more with a guide than I did touring by myself. There's just too much to see to go it alone. Millions of artifacts.
Thank you for the British Museum tour. I know that in an hour you can’t possibly film everything but, what about the Elgin Marbles? Is that room close? Elgin Marbles is one of the major highlights. I’m sorry you didn’t visit that area.
Thank you for this video.. Planning a trip to the Museum next year in March and wondering if some of the Neo Assyrian rooms then closed for viewing are now open.. Have emailed the museum waiting for a reply.. Great video.. Cheers
I remember when I visited the British Museum in 2015 on a school trip. At that time, I didn't appreciate it enough. I would do anything to go back to the UK and visit it once again. Thank you so much for this tour, you really made my day. I don't comment often, but your videos and efforts are greatly appreciated. Much love xx

During the advertisements here in Brazil an actor appears and call coloured people as "preto" something many Brazillians like I do not like. I myself would accept the term "de cor" (coloured in English), or other like brown (moreno), dark (escuro). The advertisement was made in Portuguese and not translated. It seems to me like coloured people who are not against white is suffering institutional prejudice in my country, like I, from other coloured (black) people who are against white culture. The translation of "preto" has always been "nigger" in English, but they are trying to change it here. Please help us from this prejudice.
the greatest collection of looted and stolen items in the world! and they are shamelessly displaying it ! and of course why not whose queen wears a stolen gem in her crown how can anyone expect of shame.
I love this trip but the fact that the british stole these monuments and that their real owners want it back but britain refuses annoys me. I'm sorry i can't think of it in a different way
Maybe they should return all of the artifacts that they stole out of Egypt. Artifacts in both public and private collections. But that isn't the British way, now is it. Maybe The Egyptian Government should have people come to England and either demand their return or start digging up British Royal tombs and take what they want back to Egypt to put on display.
Thanks for your work. As someone who is now disabled, videos like yours (including the busses ones) are a real joy in remembering where I once walked. Much appreciated.
