I seen a similar video BUT I like the way YOU attach the wire to the split loom ( i think thats what you call it) it looks more secure. I purchased a tiny but awesome quality Samson Go Mic and have a standard desk mic stand with el-cheapo plastic cordoid mic holder. I am using the clip on the Go Mic to sit it in the split of the mic holder. The Go Mic is fine as it is BUT I need to add a pop filter and opted for this set up and will use your version pop filter for it. THANKS for The Tutorial!!
@JasonMVFD1156 Thanks, I can't recommend the Blue Yeti enough for a condenser microphone. Plus it's USB and plugs right into your computer (if that's what you want).
I honestly don't know, I haven't bought one. I'd like to try it out though, Blue makes a good product. But this honestly works just fine if you don't care how it looks.
Heck of an idea. I do like this. I had the thought in my head to do this same exact thing with the same exact materials. (Didn't think of the hose clamp) I found your video while researching how to make a homemade condenser microphone. Still have yet to find that one. lol. Good work on the pop filter. :) Check out my videos and you will see, I NEED a pop filter and condenser mic.
Thanks, really helpful!
@brilesinfo Thanks, it turned out pretty decent.

Very nice. I think I may try this. I just bought a yeti and need a pop filter. By the way, you sound just like Seth Rogan
@sgtpepper1138 Well, I do need one. USB pref. I am running a 1/4 jack from walmart right now. lol. Bad bad quality.

Just some green ground wire, like what they use on a DirecTV satellite dish.
Just green grounding wire, you should be able to buy it off a spool at the hardware store.
