@@Bluerock121 I didn't particularly notice her getting off pitch at any point. Apart from the fact that EVERY one can get out of pitch. Mariah and Whitney were also pitchy in some clios, there are videos on youtube to prove this, and thats totally ok.
@theumbrellaroom5394 Tell me a current singer who can sustain a g5 for more than 5 seconds, an e5 to g5 phrasing for long periods... You KNOW there isn't. It doesn't mean shes the best singer, but shes certainly the most consistent when it comes to high notes and vocal power.
I love Demi and I'm a big fan but this is really messy. I've noticed that lately her voice is getting worse because of the high notes she tries to hit in every song but she doesn't control other aspects of her voice like pitch. Even the high notes don't sound that good and pleasing to me. I feel like she should quit showing off that she can belt high notes and focues more on the other stuff like staying in key and conveying emotions.
It is not messy. Demi's voice is not getting worse. Demi can control other aspects of their voice. The high notes do sound good. Demi belt out the high notes if Demi wants to.
To be fair Demi has always been one to show off their belting abilities so I don’t see why it’s a problem for them to keep doing it now, especially with their voice being better than ever before, and they have definitely improved their pitch a lot more now compared to the start of the revamped era
Patti Labelle is 80-years-old and is able to hit (and sustain) these notes better than Demi. With this being said, this is the best I've heard her sound is a long while. Seeing/hearing this makes me wish she was able to hit these notes back when she sang with Christina Aguliera.
there's no crack. thats the run she does when she doesnt wanna sustain it. same with a semitone lower key - she just touches an A5 and runs down when she doesnt wanna sustain it so no she never meant to go for the C#6. she just switches to a really light mix
Best belter out there!!!
I think the best belter would be able to stay on pitch
@@AchillesandArtemisyall are so dramatic about the pitch. She’s literally a few cents off on a few pitches. The song as a whole is very on key
@@Bluerock121 I’m not going to lose sleep over you disagreeing with me. We’re hearing 2 different things obviously.

She’s insane!!!
I Wish there were full live performances ❤😢

She was attempting better but quickly realized she could so she did the runs to save it. It was intentional

the G#5s are G5s

@@agmrcs in this case they are, she went quite flat
@@Gisaroundshe didn’t, she glided up to it and then down to F#

her voice cracked trying to go up from the Bb5 and attempt the C6 but she covered it well.
Where's the crack? There does seem to be strain toward the top notes but I can't hear a crack no matter how many times I replay it, even in slow-mo.

I dislike her singing style, but the people saying she is off key are clueless. Confusing screechy with pitchy probably.
Yikes this is messy
No it's not
Not at all
Off key
Which note?
It’s not off key she changed the build up to not go as high as c#6 you can change runs without being off key
@@kevonwill5783 shes quite literally pitchy af. If you cant hear that i'm sry for you

Hater
Doesn’t sound great.
