I just look for similar tracks and normally these are tracks 1. In the same genre 2. Not necessarily in the same key 3. With the same properties (If your track has a lead, then I try to find a track with a similar lead.. same for bass, percs, etc) Makes sense? Hey man, really useful video I like your chanel ! But if I prefer my clap more subtle or my lowmids more stronger than my reference track, can I keep it the way I like if its sounds right to me or am I obligated to follow my refenrence track ?
Great question... you can do whatever you want. A reference is just a guide, and you can do a detour. But i'm sure there are other references that such qualities Personally, i would only not go far away from the reference. Little differences are fine and expected Don't forget to join our discord at abstraktmusiclab.com/discord
