@@gaywoman420 with the amount of cut content I wouldn't be surprised if they had something in plan for rune but scrapped it. I mean after all you can go to Solstheim and deliver Mallory's letter to vex
@6:45 It's important to note that not all bosmer are bound to the Green Pact. It is entirely possible to revoke the pact, and under the urging of the Aldmeri Dominion, many wood elves have done exactly that. There are entire settlements in Valenwood which don't even recognize the Green Pact as such an imperium, primarily due to the Dominion and their meddling, as far back as the 2nd Era.
Yeah it seems like the Bosmer that live closer to Cyrodil, or work closely with the Dominion are more lax on the Green Pact, or even outright revoke it.
i loved this video keep working hard.. also i think a video on the secret past of the mages guild would be interesting because you dont hear much about their current members.
0:16 "...but what juicy secrets do their pasts hold? Where are they from? What have they done?" Me: "Where did they come from? Where did they go? Where did they come from, Ma'Randru'Jo?"
When it comes to that Bosmer who's family made wine, maybe a cool video idea would be to talk about potential Thalmor spies in Skyrim. Isolated Bosmer wouldn't be making wine, but Bosmer allied with the 3rd Aldmeri Dominion? Maybe more and more Bosmer have left the Green Pact in the 4th era. Faendal is a woodcutter in Riverwood, and will flee if he's in your party and you attack Thalmor. I always thought it was weird that two Altmer are allowed to own shops in Windhelm, maybe they're getting some help? Love the deep delve into NPCs!
Hey fudgemuppet, I was playing Morrowind today after a few years away from the game, exploring, leveling up different characters. I ended up unlocking the door to vivecs chamber and having the atronach sign I absorbed the trap. Vivec wouldn't speak with me saying that I came uninvited. The thing is though..there are papers on a desk behind vivec that speak of different aspects of the story of Morrowind. One word however stood out to me. "Heartwights" hmm I don't know why this brought me such a thought of inspiration but I think it would be a cool idea to cover the idea of heartwights and how they seem to be in that context at least some sort of divine undead, eternally living in an immortal and divine state due to the altered state of existence that the tonal magic applies. Haha hope you are having a wonderful day and love all the new videos!!
I imagine that Nerawin's wine is not wine at all by our definition. After all, ebony in reality is hardwood, not metal from the blood of a god. I'm guessing wine to Bosmer is fermented blood of some strange animal. Or maybe he was adopted by a non-bosmer who doesn't know much about his people's culture. Or MOST LIKELY, who ever wrote his dialogue forgot the Greenpact was a thing. But you could always assume it's just the unstoppable loophole of DRAGON BREAK SHENANIGANS, making it so he's from a reality where the Greenpact was ended.
Dunno if this is the right place to ask for builds, but. Can we get one that centers around the Legacy of the Dragonborn mod? It adds a museum, and you can collect artifacts and uniques items to put there. AND it's got a quest chain.
Or the wine could be sold to Altmer, who drink it like kool-aid. Wood Elves also make Jagga, fermented pig's milk. I think taht one is a daily drink, and the Rotmeth is saved for weddings. It's allowed to ferment for years, so it's probably really expensive.
A personal theory about Rune... Could it be that his parents do not live in Nirn, let alone Tamriel, but in fact live in a plane of Oblivion, say Coldharbour or the Isles, especially the Isles as the rune my some kind of gibberish from a resident or a secret and/or old language.
I'm pretty sure the Green Pact was becoming tossed to the side for the culture of Bosmers of Valenwood, even in the Second Era during ESO you catch a glimpse that the majority of the major cities seemed to have ignored the Green Pact and only the smaller towns and tribes still wholeheartedly followed it, and some that broke it ended up with a dire sickness that killed them "returned them back to the goo they were made". Its the Fourth Era and with the whole Thalmor issue i'm sure it got tossed to the side pretty hard. As much as I hate to admit it since I love the Bosmers more then any race and I love the Cannibalistic culture of the Green Pact.
Yeah, and unfortunately Bosmer are totally dependent on trade. So, they have to work with the Thalmor. In ESO there'a also a mixed altmer/bosmer couple. If that happened to a good chunk of the population, they're stuck together by the time of the 4th era.
I think The Green Pact would still be followed or modified to some extent such as instead of not harming the land at all, they'll only take what they need from trees and plants. The only Bosmer that'd fully follow the pact would be small isolated tribes.
Sapphire is related to delvin and glover. That basically means that she is unknowingly a natural born thief, yet she is so violent that you can't even tell if she is a thief or an assassin.
The liqueur Amarula is made from elephant fruit (an African fruit known to be eaten by elephants after becoming overripe/falling to ground w has, by that time, fermented & gets them drunk...apes have also been seen doing this) ...seeing as the Green Pact obligates them to consume their dead/fallen I would assume they do the same with fruits/vegetables for their production of alcohol etc~
Hey... so i know this is irrelevant to this video, but ive been playing this super fun build that uses "vokrii- minimalistic perks of skyrim" and is just using telekinesis... in vokrii there is a set of perksthat enhances telekinesis. Anyway... you pick up a bunch of junk and toss it at your enemies... i played on master difficulty no problem. If you get the final telekinesis perk, you can even throw bodies of living and/or dead beings. This becomes really useful for crowd control. I used a few companions to soak up most of the damage, but it was really fun just yeeting mushrooms at draugr deathlords and seeing them go down in a few hits. You can come up with your own backstory if you decide to use this build, but i used a good breton female character for mine... anyway if you do decide to use this, thank you and i hope you have as much fun with it as i did
I think Rotmeth is whatever leftover meat they had, chucked in a bladder, seasoned with bugs, and left to ferment for years. Only used at weddings. Jagga is fermented pigs milk.
Morag Tong has a real history in this world. The Writ of Execution, has a lot similarities to a Writ of Vendetta a legal document to kill a person for a crime. These documents existed when police, deputies, and or Marshals were not available to pursue said criminals.
