  • After watching winter camping videos on RUclips for many years, we decided to buy a hot tent and give it a go ourselves. We spend one night out in the Belair Provincial forest in our Nortent Gamme 6 heated by a Winnerwell Nomad medium tent stove.
    Filmed on a Sony a7c with a Sony 20mm F1.8 G lens.

Thanks! We just got back yesterday from a 2 night camping trip at the same spot but this time with -25c overnight temps. Will likely take me a few weeks to edit the footage.

I've never seen one of these winter camping people going on skis setup their Camp spend the second day hiking a mountain and skiing back down to their camp and then the next day break camp and head out. Backcountry skiing is a lot of fun

Camping in the snow looks like a lot of fun. I really want to try camping in the snow, but in Indonesia there is no snow. great camping videos.

If you ever make it to Canada our National Parks have OTentiks which is like a canvas tent that has a wood stove and some have electricity also. It allows people to experience a form of winter camping without having to buy all the gear.

It seems like a waist of time to go through all that for one night. I would have spent at least two days there.
