Caught in heavy snow high up in the mountains - winter solo camping in hot tent

- This time I was drawn deep south into the mountains. The snow was deeper than I expected. The sled was quite heavy, which made crossing the high snow much more difficult. The heavy snowfall continued into the night. Hours later, when I reached my campsite, I was able to enjoy the wonderful winter landscape.
I hope you enjoy.
Equipment used:
Tent: Pomoly Dome X4
Stove: Pomoly T-Brick
Sled: Canadian pulka
Jacket: Ridgeline Monsoon classic
Shoes: Canadian Kamik
Chair: Kamui
I've never seen that much snow in my entire life!! Beautiful.
Beautiful snow scenery😮 I’ll take a double cheeseburger 🍔 to go please 😊
That double bacon cheeseburger 😮😀👍👌💪
I second the snowshoes suggestions, but I'm REALLY astonished at hauling your firewood up a mountain when there was all those downed trees just waiting for a bow saw.
The area is surrounded by wet low-pressure systems for most of the year. Trees that have been dead for years are still completely damp there. Thats why I have dry firewood with me
Longer videos please ❤ great job 👏🏼
Might want to send that Thousand dollar tent back and buy some snowshoes 😳
I was thinking the same thing!
Tent is less than $500.
Where was the issue? If you're gonna critique, at least add some details. Don't even bother if you can't do that. Makes you sound like a whiny person.
Great video! Best yet
The food you made looked delicious
Great video, beautiful scenery as usual. Loving the winter videos.
Super ❄️ hike and camp
Thanks bud ❄️
What happened to the video you posted on 4/15/23? I paused it to go to bed and now it’s gone. It was a good one!

Love those heater/stove thingies.
It´s so cozy
Lols, reminds me of when 3 friends and I when we were 12 took a hike from our homes to a lake and instead of taking the road we decided to do it the hard way, cross country... We battled 18 inches of Snow for 5 hours before we got to the Lake. Wonderful trip..
Очень красивая природа, отличный отдых, мира, добра вам. И удачи, у вас отличная палатка.
wow, amazing hike

Enjoyed your video, amazing beautiful place and fair play to you for going out in the elliments, one little piece of advice if I may, stay away from the plastic "cheese" put a flame under it and you'll soon find out what I mean, stay safe and all the very best

Będzie namiot rozkładał w takim śniegu?.chyba ma coś z głową.to po co budują te ziemianki.?.
How well did that T brick work in that 10. What was the temp inside?
The T-Brick is awesome. The temperature in the tent was probably around 28 degrees/ 82.4 F
Heck with shoveling. Bring a flame thrower. 😂
Great vid. The physical effort. Wow
It may work but really old fashion !
Wow soo cool brother, favorit chanel survival
Snowshoes, maybe necessary?
Snowmobiles is the best
Unfortunately no snowmobile available
Nice camp & cook
With all due respect,
With skis preferably or maybe a good set of snowshoes, easier traveling safer faster traveling .
No need to shovel out the platform for the tent just pack it down with the skis . The ground's frozen now anyways .
Spettacolo!!!👍💪
What kind of table do you use?
Nice brother
How do I find a stove like that ?
You can find it on www.pomoly.com
Who's the camera person for all these vids
I'm the cameraman. All work done by myself
The hamburger looks delicious wow
Every video now is about "hot tents". Rarely do we see a video about cold camping in a good old tent without a heater. Don't get me wrong, common sense says it is better to be warm rather than freeze in an unheated tent. I speak from experience as I tried it once camping in the winter in sub-zero temps and it was a damn difficult experience I have never tried again. Too many hours stuck in a sleeping bag just trying to say warm. One has to hand it to those folks that climb Everest and stay in unheated tents.
Looks pretty cold to me...
With thick socks it was bearable
That’s a heck of a struggle going in, and moving the camera around fir those shots too. That’s effort.
OP bro 👍🙂♥️🇮🇳🇮🇳🇮🇳
Be careful out there, I hear there's a Yeti in the area.
🙏🥰
Didn't starve!
When you are pulling a heavy sled loaded with gear, you aren’t “caught” in a snowstorm, you made a conscious effort to go out in it.
