I have the 357 mag version of the Desert Eagle. It kicks like a mule. Problem is that this game, show really what the problem with that gun is. Frankly, the gun jams if you don't clean it often. Its one of those few pistols that capture the gas of the cartridge to pull back the slide. It really gets messy in that pipe after just 50 or so rounds. I have heard the 50AE rounds are fairly clean but 357 rounds are a roll of the dice for me. They are either to weak so the thing jams on every bullet or they are strong, but gunk up the innereds even after 10 shots. Three different manufactures of bullets of 158g had all these weird issues so I kinda gave up and haven't shot it in years now. But hell, it's fun to shoot and collectable. That's about the main reason to own this thing.
i think the DE in this game FTFs alot because the Threat interferes with your equipment, including weakening mag springs. says so in one of the tapes anyway. and im pretty sure the deagle in this game is 50AE

Not really a gun person but I think the “bad bullet” is for the hammer to rest on when you have your gun holstered to protect against accidental discharge

Highly debatable. Pop culture says "best hand gun ever :D pog" But in actuality it sincerely depends. There are some that will literally routinely jam more than they successfully fire - brand new. To the point where the (modern) military issued version is widely regarded as one of most obnoxious pieces of crap you'll ever be issued. Thankfully most civilian models are *more* reliable than that, but the point still stands that the meme of it being really reliable is _just_ a meme, and like literally every other gun ever invented it depends on the construction of the piece.

As long as you use 45acp ball, the issue is people shoot hollow points and it's not made to shoot that type of ammo, it was made in 1911 it used ball point. as long as its made right and rattles it'll shoot perfectly fine, finer than most. And the military version weren't shit, they hated switching, we switched due to nato using 9mm and every soldier was pissed since they switch to the m9, which was not only less reliable for them than the 1911 but also a smaller caliber. Talk to any vet that used the 1911 and find me one who says he hated 1911 dare you.
