@@larsnyman2455 Well, if it is what I am thinking it is, it's actually tough to give an answer to that question. Not because it is difficult to explain, but because it is a core mechanic of that game and is best served by experiencing it. It's similar to games like Undertale and DDLC in that the best way (debatably) to enjoy the games is to experience it as blind as possible to get the full effect.
It would be great to see a version of that game that actually is playable for the left-handed. However, knowing Nintendo, they'd probably find a way to make the remaster even more unplayable for the left-handed.

Crafted World is good in it's own right. The artstyle, while not inherently an issue, is a little stale after Wooly World. But what I will say is that I prefer Wooly World, as Crafted World is best played when you know what you're looking for, or at least know in what kinds of places to look, and isn't all too fun on a blind run. To me, souvenir hunting and looking up where the normal side collectibles are is where the real fun is, and much less irritating. and it shouldn't be that way. It's good, just not great like Wooly World, or the original Yoshi's Island.
I personally think Crafted World was pretty great. The 100% completion stuff definitely isn't worth doing, but going through each of the levels is like a dream
Crafted World sucked. The levels may have looked okay graphically but if I recall correctly it was stuck at 720p so it just as a whole didn’t look that good. I disagree. I think they're not going to do it because Prime 3's controls are far too fundamental to the game. So many scenarios were designed around IR controls to the point that the game couldn't work on Dual Sticks (and I talking about Enemies, Bosses, and Puzzles, not just the lever pushing.) With all of this being said, I adore the entire Trilogy, Each game excels in different areas, but they're all wonderful experiences I would recommend anyone play them. But I don't think it's happening. With all of that being said, I'm hoping for the same thing. The difference between the two of us is that I'm a sad man who once read about how the MP Trilogy devs couldn't even think of any way to translate MP3 to switch. I loved Star Fox Adventures as a kid, I’d love to play it again.
I know it's not Arlo's thing, so I understand why it's not here, but god damn it just give us Xenoblade X on switch already. It's the only notable Wii U exclusive still left. Just... let people play it. It's such a good game and Mira is a joy to explore
Yeah exactly what I said as well. If we get Xenoblade X on switch, the switch is then the perfect console for playing Xenoblade games. It's also the only one I can't play because I don't have a Wii U.
Preach!
You guys are forgetting that the Xenoblade Chronicles series had games before it. Where is our Xenogears and Xenosaga???
@@Player-jh4ko oh believe me, I want gears and saga too, but Square forgets that they own Gears and Bamco doesn't want to remake Saga as far as we can tell, so Blade is the most likely (and most popular) for a remake
@@ninjamagic004 Yeah sadly we probably won't be seeing any remakes of those games. 😔😔
Golden Sun is incredible! I would love love love that.
super paper mario was my first paper mario and still honestly my favorite. i’d kill for an HD version
Super Paper Mario wasnt supposed to break the series formula in the first place, it was a one off spin off that was originally planned for the gamecube. That was before Tanabe started directing the series...
I would love love love a remaster of Fantasy Life for the 3DS-- the whole switching between multiple jobs system to hone all your skills and collect different things was done so well.

NUMBER 11: Super Mario RPG, What a Game with out a sequel or Remaster... so sad.
I mean, technically it has a sequel.
Talk to Square-Enix about that one. They were the developers of the game. Nintendo just published it.
I don't often say that I want a remaster/rerelease of something, but I would give my left bollock to have SMRPG on the snes library on nintendo online. If they remaster if, nintendo can have the other bollock too
@@jimmyrobertson4264 I had no idea that is what "bullocks" were. I'll have to agree though, it deserves it. I'm lucky to have it on the snes classic
My F.G.O.A.T. Hell if they'd just add it to SNES-NSO I'd jump out of my chair.
EARTHBOUND!!!! I need that game back
the way I NEED Fire Emblem Path of Radiance/Radiant Dawn Remasters and also kid icarus uprising
Yes; Path of Radiance and Radiant Dawn absolutely need remasters so that more people can experience them; they were fantastic game that never had a chance at selling well because they were Fire Emblem games made before 2012/2013.
As for Kid Icarus, it would be good to see a version of that game that left-handed people can actually play (though, given Nintendo's track record, they'd inevitably find a way to make the game somehow *more* unplayable for the left-handed).
YES to all!
@@matthewmuir8884 : Yeah, people might go "What?" at first, but all you need to say to that is "The Ike games" and I'm sure people will be ready to jump in. :)
I am one of those Starfox adventure fan girls so seeing you mention it brought joy to my heart. I hope they remaster it cause even just you mentioning it and showing the clips gave me that ‘oooo it’s been so long I wanna play it again’ itch
BTW, thanks to you, Arlo, and your overwhelming enthusiasm for Metroid, ive snagged a used Wii U and am going to play thru the series for the first time for my channel before Dread releases
What did you think of them???

I must say Arlo, your promotions are the only ones I really enjoy watching on RUclips.
I’m surprised Kid Icarus Uprising isn’t on this list. That game really deserves an HD remaster with updated controls on Switch.
HD Remake of Eternal Darkness would be SICK
So uhhh
What was the mind-blowing thing Arlo didn’t want to spoil?
@@larsnyman2455 Well, if it is what I am thinking it is, it's actually tough to give an answer to that question. Not because it is difficult to explain, but because it is a core mechanic of that game and is best served by experiencing it.
It's similar to games like Undertale and DDLC in that the best way (debatably) to enjoy the games is to experience it as blind as possible to get the full effect.
That title is own by different studio
Super Paper Mario was my second ever mario game so I’d really love to see it again on Switch
Kid Icarus: Uprising needs to be on this
It would be great to see a version of that game that actually is playable for the left-handed. However, knowing Nintendo, they'd probably find a way to make the remaster even more unplayable for the left-handed.
My top 5
5. Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance/Radiant Dawn
4. Metroid Prime Trilogy
3. Kid Icarus Uprising
2. Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door
1. The Legend of Zelda: Majora’s Mask.
FE PoR and RD, yes. My favs in the series
I agree with FE PoR and RD; PoR is my favourite video game of all time.
As for Kid Icarus Uprising, it would be nice to see a version of the game that's actually playable for the left-handed. But, given Nintendo's track record, they'd probably somehow find a way to make the remaster still play terribly for the left-handed.
I personally feel it would be so wrong to do another Majora's Mask remake without doing another Ocarina of Time remake as well. The two games really go hand in hand imo. That's just how I feel though. Personally, in terms of Zelda games, since Oot and MM already got remasters, I'd rather have a Minish Cap remaster.
@@FirstNameLastName-oz5ij I want the other Zelda games. But Majora is my most wanted.
"I for some reason I never finished star fox adventures." it's okay rare never got to either.
Very nice.
Yeah, I was wondering why he never brought up the main boss fight at the end of the game that just... isn't activated, until he mentioned not having finished the game. That is definitely deserving of a fix.
Would love to see pokemon mystery dungeon explorers of sky remade for switch. We got a remake of the first pmd game, so why not the second?
Yeah, I would love it too, but here's a little tip for you:
Do not ever expect too much from Nintendo, or else they'll never release it, just like the Nintendo Switch Pro.
They released OLED instead and nothing has changed except for the large screen and "better graphics in hand-held"...
I love the graphics so I want rather a remaster or port
Dude arlos ads are so creative i watched thru it cuz i kinda enjoyed it
- Mystical Ninja Starring Goemon.
- Super Mario Galaxy 2.
- Wave Race: Blue Storm.
- F Zero GX.
- Illusion of Time/Gaia.
- Wind Waker trilogy w/ Spirit Tracks & Phantom Hourglass.
- Ocarina / Majora double pack.
- Twilight Princess w/ Link’s Crossbow Training.
- Wii Sports Resort
- Metroid Prime Trilogy
My entire list would probably be all of the Mario RPGs. (+ Mother Trilogy)
Kirby trilogy collection tho: Wii, triple deluxe, and Robobot.
YES. I would pay too much money for that
i could go the rest of my life without another kirby game. theyre made for like, 4 year olds. now, if this were actually true i wouldnt care, but they market the game to everyone lol....kirby games are embarassingly bland and easy to finish
Having all four “Renaissance Era” Kirby games on one system would be incredible, but at this point I think most of us just want something new from the series. We already got a great send-off in the form of Star Allies and its post-launch content, so we could go a little while until a hypothetical “Dream Collection 2.”
@@FedoraKirb I want something new too that's why a collection would be the best for this kid of gameplay instead of a new game that looks and plays the same
@@FedoraKirb Judging by the clues in Star Allies, it does look as though whatever is coming next for Kirby is going to be something different from the current formula... or they were just trolling lmao
I just want the ability to play Gamecube games on the switch.
Im SO GLAD you included Starfox adventures! I absolutely loved that game when I was younger!
Starfox Adventures was strange for sure, but it was my first Starfox game and my childhood :]
Yoshis wooly world was so good and the switch only has poopies crafted world :(
Crafted World is good in it's own right.
Yeees
Crafted World sucked. The levels may have looked okay graphically but if I recall correctly it was stuck at 720p so it just as a whole didn’t look that good. The level themselves were either very boring or the epitome of “whatever”. Not a very good game, especially when you can get so much better platformers like Tropical Freeze on the switch already.
@@sonicwontletmeleave Just cause it's 720p doesn't mean it looks bad.
And yeah the level design was a little boring, but still really fun in its own way. It's just more of a reeled back relaxing game compared to its predicessors.
Just Kid Icarus: Uprising please. Literally the only thing I’ll ever want. 😢
Yes 😔
Golden Sun please. Absolutely one of the best underrated RPGs to ever exist.
tbh the story is so basic you could neutralize an acid with it. However the gameplay was FANTASTIC. It was an RPG mixed with a metroidvania, what a goddamn amazing game.
@@DarkEspeon40K I did enjoy the twist wherein we discovered that Saturos and Mernadi were trying to save the world. Tolbi's arc was quite interesting too.
@@steampowered6883 yea I can't think of too many stories that show that perspective a whole game apart. I don't consider the story basic at all
It’s also one of those rare games where your save data can be imported from the first game to the second, due to its Pokémon like feature of collecting “dijins” that strengthens your power.
Collecting all also unlocks a special dungeon that completing it grants you the most powerful summon in the game! Well worth the effort. One of the few games I ever 100 precented!
He's done this Racon thing for a good couple of episodes now, and I know one thing because of it: I would hire Arlo to market anything and everything. Good job Arlo, the only one who can make sponsor snip that I enjoy watching.

Very happy to hear Arlo talk about F-zero, Eternal Darkness, and even mention playing Nintendo games through an emulator all in one video :)
Arlo mentioning F-Zero is a sight to behold
F-Zero GX is great but I've always had difficulty playing it due to all of the colours flashing by so quickly and a lot of things simply blending together on some stages. I'm not even epileptic either. A remaster with a lot of options to address visual impairments and maybe fine tune a few of the stages would be amazing for the game since if you suffer from those problems it's kind of impossible to play them.
@@QwertyCaesar In my experience, X is a lot easier for newcomers to get into as it’s novice difficulty is a lot easier than GX’s novice difficulty. So GX and it’s “visuals” make a lot more sense when you look at it as a sequel to X.
That said, I’ve heard the same kind of complaints from another F-Zero fan. And I think X would be a good choice for you to try out.
Nintendo Remasters I want on Switch:
10.Kid Icarus Uprising
9.Pokémon Red and Blue
8. Star Fox 64
7. The Legend Of Zelda Majora’s Mask
6. Dragon Ball Z Budokai
5. Super Mario Galaxy 2
4. Mario and Sonic at The Olympic Games
3.Sonic Generations
2.The Legend of Zelda Twilight Princess
1.The Legend of Zelda Ocarina of Time.

I like how you acknowledged what we got from your last list.
“So I can complain about the prices and then buy them anyway” +1
Well if you really sit down and think about it paying $60.00 plus tax for a Nintendo switch port is a way better deal compared to buying the original version for over $100 and up! 😭
Plus it would give new gamers a chance to play a classic game without breaking the bank with that I would love to see a few games make a come back.
Captain Rainbow(released for the Wii never localized
Disaster Day of Crisis( Wii game that was canceled due to an earthquake that hit Japan)
Fatal Frame Mask of the Luna Eclipse A wii game was joint developed by Nintendo, Bandai and Grasshopper Manufacturer!
The latter is well know for classic games like No More Heroes, Killer 7 and the Silver Case series!
Why did this never get localized? Well the original had a ton of bugs and it was never decided who would fix them as Nintendo and Bandai didn't agree to fix it.
Currently it is in limbo. 😢
Those are a few games I want to see come to the Switch and the fact that Disaster Report:Summer of Memories and Fatal Frame Maiden of the Blackwater is finally getting localized gives me hope.

My list is Kid Icarus: Uprising. That's it, that's the whole list.
I'm seeing that one a lot in the comments. Personally, I don't see the appeal. I felt like Uprising wasn't very good but clearly a remaster would make a lot of people happy so I support it.
I would really love a Kid Icarus: Uprising remaster on the switch upscaled with gyro aiming. I bought it on the 3ds and played it a bit, but ultimately struggled with the poor control scheme and gave up. However I would DEFINITELY play the hell out of a switch version.
Thank GOD someone finally said Super Metroid has sloppy control. THANK YOU ARLO💙💙💙💙
Starfox Adventures was one of my earliest games I ever had, being a 7 year old when it came out, and I fucking loved it. Yeah, it was a big departure from what people grew to know Starfox as, but still, it had such excellent atmosphere, great music, and great locations. The combat was lacklustre though.

@@chickennugget6684 I was soooooo disappointed when BiS got a remaster but not PiT despite the fact that the latter came first. I understand why they did it---PiT was always the least popular while BiS was always the most popular, so remaking BiS would give them a higher chance of having better sales. Still, it was incredibly disappointing to me; PiT was always my favorite of the series. How does a game about wacky monsters and time-traveling babies manage to have such a dark and compelling story? Remasters I want? Metroid prime trilogy.
@Mark Zooming I agree. I think they're waiting until prime 4 has a more firm window and that they're just sort of sitting on it right now.
I disagree. I think they're not going to do it because Prime 3's controls are far too fundamental to the game. So many scenarios were designed around IR controls to the point that the game couldn't work on Dual Sticks (and I talking about Enemies, Bosses, and Puzzles, not just the lever pushing.) Gyro would also be terrible for a whole game, let alone a trilogy of them. With all of this being said, I adore the entire Trilogy, Each game excels in different areas, but they're all wonderful experiences I would recommend anyone play them. But I don't think it's happening. With all of that being said, I'm hoping for the same thing. The difference between the two of us is that I'm a sad man who once read about how the MP Trilogy devs couldn't even think of any way to translate MP3 to switch.
All we can do is hope, and it's no one's right to take that away. I'm hoping too, but I'm not convinced it's going to happen, not on switch anyway.
Play the dolphin mod that introduces traditional keyboard and mouse control in an hd version of the game.

I’m glad Arlo is getting sponsorships, but I hope nobody actually buys raycons. They really are a scam.
@Big fick because Arlo isn’t the one who’s making the product he’s just being sponsored. He’s a guy who makes great content I feel like he should profit a little bit.
the only people buying raycons are the people to broke to care or too not-into-music/whatever to notice a difference
What’s the problem with raycons? They seem to work fine with everybody I know that uses them.
What's wrong with them? They work better than any other ear buds I've had. Am I missing something?
Raycons are fine, they're just very expensive considering the average quality. No company could afford the mass influencer marketing that Raycon do and also make a fantastic value product.
For me it's up to the consumer to do their research and be cynical about most brands that sponsor influencers
It bothers me that Top Tens are "old school" now.

I'd love for The Last Story to get the Xenoblade treatment. Also, I don't think a straight port of the WiiU version Windwaker to Switch is too much to ask for. Honestly still shocked they didn't chuck Skyward and WW together in a double pack like they did with OoT and MM way back when.

I will never not want a remake/remaster of the Mother series
They really should bring the trilogy to the switch.
Idk why they won't just do it. Cheap project and good PR too. Are they just scared of some of Mother 3's "offensive" humor? That's the only thing I can think of.
@@rogan4338 a big reason why is because sales. Basically everyone who wants can already play all the games, including Mother 3. They think it would be a waste of time to remake them when everybody who wants can just play them. But I think if they do good job advertising it, it could be a big success. Plenty of people know Ness and Lucas from smash and find them interesting, I think the series has great potential to appeal to a lot more people, and the switch is getting more people into the games that mainly the hardcore Nintendo fans play.
